An American Harvest Miracle
I was raised on a ranch and farm combination nine miles east of Claude, Texas towards Goodnight, Texas. My father had a field of near 100 acres which was irrigated. He was raising barley the year of a miracle during harvest time.
My father was a godly man. He would not miss going to Church in order to complete his farming. I have heard him say at harvest time, we must go to worship God and attend Church first, then we will cut the barley.
At harvest time [a very critical time] farmers must get the crop harvested and successfully into the sale barn before bad weather sets in. Many times [in the Texas panhandle near Claude] bad hale storms happen regularly that hail-out crops.
I have seen a beautiful crop of barley growing waste deep one day and in moments of time, I have seen it cut down to the ground by a very severe hail storm. The once beautiful crop looked as if it had been combined, but it had not. It had been cut down by hailstones, many as large as baseballs.
There was another farmer living across the highway from the 100 acre field of barley that my father had planted. The other farmer was not like my father, but he would go to the field and harvest his crop and put that before The LORD.
I can still remember going to church that Sunday morning and driving by the ripe field of barley even when there were storm clouds gathering in the distant sky. We drove past the neighbor and saw him frantically harvesting his field [hoping to beat the possible storm and loose all].
We drove on and my father said: “We must believe and trust God.”
I have heard him talk about how a farmer must trust God or else farming would be like gambling. Gambling is a sin, he would say, so I will put my trust in The LORD. He will help me with the harvest!
After the Sunday service, my father said, now hurry, we must go harvest. Driving home, he quickly went in and changed his clothes and so did I and we went to harvest the barley. All the rest of the mid day we cut barley, but when evening church time came, my father stopped and said: we must go back to Church.
After the evening service, he quickly drove home and went back to the field and we cut wheat up into the dark until it was too dark to see.
The next morning we got up early and drove to the barley field to again to cut barley. As we worked, we saw a huge cloud coming in the west-southwest. It loomed closer and closer. As it came, we worked even harder. My father said, we must get all out of the field that we can before it hits….
The storm winds hit and then something surprising happened that I will never forget. The rain filled with large hail came right up to the highway between my fathers field and the neighbors field then stopped. The rain never crossed that road into our field and it did not hail!!!
But, the neighbor’s field was completely wiped out. We watched as he lost it all. He came up the road [truck and tractor barely getting out of the muddy field] with eyes filled with tears and just shook his head in bewilderment when he saw that the rain and hail never crossed the highway into our field!
I tell this story to make a point and I believe even a prophetic word, I believe we must worship God and serve him first before we attend to the harvest fields. If we will God will bless America with plenty.
In America, people have forgotten God and have left off worship and service for him.
All they are concerned about is themselves and their sins, how much money they can make, and things they can get. Because of this, this nation is in harm’s way.
The storm clouds are gathering. The hail storm is coming to cut down all profit and ruin the crops.
Will you believe with me that God will hail out those who are wrong and spare his people?
Let the storm not enter our fields!

I experienced similar wonders. Once I saw in the garden a wall of rain, stopping right before my eyes. Lightnings and thunder were passing by, but here in my garden wondrously blue and white colours brightened up the rainy wall, like a curtain of pearls. God is real, God is surrounding us, visible and invisible. Day and night.
