Be Ready and Respond
A number of years ago, my wife and I were driving by the home of some friends of ours.
I saw an ambulance in the driveway. So, we turned around and went back to their house and walked in the door where the paramedics were helping our friend, Jack who had just had a heart attack.
My wife and I laid hands upon him and prayed for his healing.
Today at a restaurant north of Brockport, NY, we saw him, his wife and her 90 plus year old father walk in and sat at a table.
We went to their table after we finished eating and began a conversation with them. Her father begins coughing and couldn’t stop coughing.
I told him, “I will pray for you, right here, right now!” and I laid my hands upon him and prayed for his healing as well.
God always wants you to be ready for any time that a situation arises for those who may be experiencing a time of distress, where the healing power of The Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus, is present in your life.
The Word of God holds true where He says in His Word: “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4).
Be ready in season, and out of season for any opportunity for the Lord to use you as His instrument, His servant to manifest His healing grace.
“These signs will follow those who believe; they shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

His purpose is to present the Word of God and the Love of God with the prophetic heart; the heart that desires to hear the Voice of The LORD, and present His Word for the encouragement of others.

Brother Thomas, Pray for me that I will be ready to be used by the Lord in every situation the Lord presents to me. There’s been a couple of times I should have responded for the Lord and did not realize it until later. Thank you and Gid bless!
I receive this Word in Jesus Name Amen!
Blessings peace and love to you and yours dear Prophet Downes.
Yes! This is ministry. Day by day. I pray people stop believing that ministry involves buildings, tax credits, fancy websites, book deals and something named after themselves! All of us are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Do the work of an evangelist and fulfill our ministry. Wherever you are, your ministry is with you. All the other stuff can often be a procrastination in doing the works of the Kingdom with others face to face.
Amen, my brother! God bless you.
