Can You Be Like a Child Once Again?
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Can You Be Like a Child Once Again?
No need to turn back the clock
Anything is possible, right here and now
When faith is mixed with His Promise
Can you be like a child once again?
Having trust and laughter?
Taking those first steps in boldness?
Having love and wonder?
Where everything is new?
Can you be like a child once again?
Once again?
Can you be like a child once again?
Having hopes and dreams?
Taking His Hand?
Having joy and excitement?
Wide-eyed and carefree?
Dancing like no one is watching?
Singing in perfect harmony?
Heart beating passionately?
Can you be like a child once again?
Once again?
No need to strive
Only sit at His Feet
It’s all that is required
Living in the moment
Accepting His Fellowship
Giving Him your time
Returning to your First Love
Letting Him sing over you
Can you be like a child once again?
Once again?
Accepting His Invitation?
Accepting His Blessings?
Hanging on to every word He says?
Oh once again….oh once again…
And enter into His Rest and Kingdom?
Chasing butterflies
Singing with birds
Running through meadows
Dancing in summer rain
Looking up and watching clouds
Let Him take you to places
Where you are a child once again…
Once again…
No need to turn back the clock
Anything is possible, right here and now
When faith is mixed with His Promise—
You can be like a child once again
Filled with child-like faith and enter into His Rest…
Oh you can be like a child once again,
Oh yes, oh yes, you can!
Oh you can be like a child once again,
Oh yes, oh yes, you can!
And enter into His Rest and Kingdom!

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.

some of us never had a childhood ..or memories like this to return to?
Yes, it’s true jj,
But, we must have had that childhood innocence once, before it was stolen away from us? Our Abba Father knows who the orphans are (‘emotional’, ‘spiritual’ and Church orphans, too), and guess what? Father God loves us all the more. We CAN ‘experience’ His Love. It’s doable….and He promises restoration and wholeness to those who dare to place their trust in Him. Our childhoods are gone, and we can’t do anything to change what we went through, but God can, and does. He promises “beauty for ashes” (Isaiah 61:3), and this I know, that our Abba, Father delivers on His promises. God Bless ❤️
OH YES!!!
Thank you dear Gabrielle!
My heart dances with DELIGHT!
– Nothing like the freedom and wonder
of the DELIGHT of our Father over each of us!!
Joy Blessings!
So beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
