Part 1 of 2

 

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1.

“I AM The LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself,” Isaiah 44:24.

For many weeks now, I have been hearing a few secular songs in very odd combinations.

They roll together, then pull apart, then re- emerge in the most wonderful ways.

You probably won’t know most of them, though they include ‘One for Sorrow’ by Steps.

Though in different styles, and from different eras, the choruses have similar sequence of chords. But with the songs I am hearing a completely different kind of music.

It floats over the secular words and sounds ethereal. Heavenly!

It is like an angelic choir singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy!” It has the effect of sanctifying the worldly music for God’s purposes.

I also hear ‘It’s Raining Again’ with of all things, ‘Agnus Dei’, especially the version above from Passion conference in 2024.

I often hear Agnus Dei anyway, but the combination has been rather unusual.

I dismissed it as just being my way of thinking but then I understood it was significant.

I thought it may be that I was being asked to pray for the musicians involved. I have done so, but The LORD has a greater message than that.

I pondered and prayed for a time. I realised in the music I have been hearing that The LORD is reminding us of a few foundational truths. I started setting them down in writing.

Then The LORD confirmed it to me:

“Behold I AM coming soon!

I AM coming to the arts.

I AM coming to the sciences.

I AM coming to business.

I AM coming to entertainment.

I AM coming to technology.

I AM coming to education, health, politics, justice, finances, sports, theology, economics, agriculture, architecture, jurisprudence, engineering, horticulture, transport and so much more.

I AM coming to parenting.

I AM coming to social media.

I AM coming to your hobbies, to rest, to conversation and to meals.

I AM coming to worship.

I AM coming to My people!

Even now I AM dwelling among you and dwelling within you.

Do not limit Me.

Do not limit yourself in Me either.

Every creative act you do, large or small, is from Me.

Nothing is beyond My reach.

You are made in My image. You are made to be holy.

You are made to be a maker. You can twist and subvert creativity, but it all comes from Me.

Nothing is a waste of time if you give it back to Me.

Give Me your creativity.

I make all things. I love making! I AM The LORD who makes you holy.

Make a joyful noise to Me!

You are surrounded by songs of Deliverance.

Sing for Me. Make music for Me.

Dance for Me. Cook and clean and work and rest and play and live for Me.

I AM Holy. I AM creative. Build with Me.

Allow Me to make you holy in your creativity.

Stand by My side as I work, like a child learning their father’s or mother’s trade. Watch Me and learn how to do everything with Me.

It pleases Me when My Children make things with Me.

I AM fully present in every moment.

Everything you do and everything you are must be consecrated to Me.

Everything you do and everything you are must be worship.

Come and create with Me!”
