Don’t Blame JESUS, Bless Him
Don’t Blame JESUS, Bless Him
“Bless THE LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy NAME! Bless THE LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His Benefits” Psalm 103:1-2.
“I will bless THE LORD at all times; His Praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1.
“Oh, taste and see that THE LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Psalm 34:8.
GOD is FAR better than you can ever need Him to be good.
THE LORD is good, and only good. And He does all things for our good; He makes all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28).
Why then would you blame Him for anything, in anything?
To blame GOD is to literally charge with wrongdoing He Who is holy and sinless. Yes indeed, blameless.
JESUS CHRIST The Righteous asks pointedly: “Which of you convicts Me of sin?” (John 8:46).
Oh, I deeply empathise with you in whatever you are going through, or went through. And I pray GOD’s swift Deliverance and Healing and Restoration for you.
However, we must never blame GOD for anything, or complain against Him in anything.
Those who complain against GOD, has any suffered so DEVASTATING, compounding and consecutive afflictions as Job?
Yet in all those crushing things he suffered he did not blame GOD.
“In all this Job did not sin nor charge GOD with wrong.” Job 1:22.
When going through things we must not complain against GOD or blame Him. Rather, we must bless Him.
Doing so actually releases His Power to deliver us from all our troubles, as happened for Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail (Acts 16:16-26).
And we must also not be sorrowful.
To be wallowing in pity and sorrow is like self-harming and bleeding profusely in shark infested waters.
The predators will be readily attracted to attack the bleeding person.
Sorrow, despair, a sense of helplessness and other feelings of the curse attract demons to attack. Indulging in such feelings give them legal permission to attack.
A few years ago, a sister and her husband (in another country) I had been ministering to for sometime, sent me an urgent message that her husband had been rushed to the hospital with an emergency.
He was put on drips and a ventilator.
He was in a very serious medical state.
I sought THE LORD what to pray.
After days of intercession, his health improved significantly.
But subsequently, the hospital informed the family that his condition had deteriorated.
They all became sorrowful (she told me her adult daughter was even crying).
I wrote back saying, “No, no, no! Please don’t allow sorrow. Don’t allow grief!
It is from the devil, Sister […]! Don’t hinder what GOD is doing by allowing sorrow and fear! It is bondage!”
“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION by Whom we cry out, “Abba, FATHER.”” Romans 8:15.
“Cry out to THE FATHER, don’t cry with sorrow.
Doubt, fear, sorrow, unbelief, [and the like] cut off The Power of GOD for healing, deliverance and victory, (Matthew 13:58; Hebrews 3:19).
Do not be afraid; only believe! (Mark 5:36).
So much prayer has been invested in this; GOD is working His MIGHTY POWER in this matter. Why would you do this now?
In JESUS’ NAME, I proclaim over you all the acceptable year of THE LORD, and the day of vengeance of our GOD; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give you beauty for ashes, The Oil of Joy for mourning, The Garment of Praise for the spirit of heaviness; that you be called trees of Righteousness, the planting of THE LORD, that He may be glorified.
And you shall rebuild the old ruins, you shall raise up the former desolations, and you shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations. (Isaiah 61:2-4 NKJV).
I’m praying fervently for you. But you must stop allowing fear and sorrow immediately.
Please. It is counterproductive.”
Three days later, he passed away.
How we act, react and respond (fight) in battle will determine how we come out: with victory or loss, better or bitter.
No matter the battle, no matter the difficulty, we must come out victorious and better.
‘As it is written: “For Your Sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us.” Romans 8:36-37.
Philippians 4 gives us express instructions for our victory in every situation:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to GOD; and The Peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through CHRIST JESUS.” Philippians 4:6-7.
We must not be anxious, but rather pray and praise GOD for His Intervention and Deliverance from our troubles.
Hallelu-YAH!
Earlier, when the brother’s condition had improved, and the sister updated me, I replied:
“Please let us sing praises to our GOD for this good news.
When Elijah stood on THE LORD’s Report of “a cloud, as SMALL as a man’s hand”, he soon had “a heavy rain”. (1 Kings 18: 41-46).
In fact, I wanted to tell you to have all of you singing praises to GOD, genuinely.
It is a GREAT Spiritual Weapon for victory when you praise GOD in misery. Appellations to Him in affliction, swiftly attract His Attention and Deliverance.
When Jehoshaphat and his people praised Him in the face of battle, GOD did the fighting for them, and gave them GREAT abundance from the enemy. (Please study 2 Chronicles 20: 1 – 20).
Please switch now to praising GOD fervently. The whole family.”
Two most powerful and profitable things to do when in difficulty is to pray and praise GOD.
Our prayer and praise release GREAT earth-quaking, prison foundations-shaking, prison doors-opening Power of GOD for our deliverance and rescue by Him, as Paul and Silas experienced in Acts 16.
“But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to GOD, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26 emphasis added.
King Jehoshaphat, all of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem likewise had done and experienced the same outcomes in 2 Chronicles 20:1-30.
Psalm 149:5-9 says It all:
“Let the saints be joyful in Glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of GOD be in their mouth, And A Two-edged Sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them The Written Judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise THE LORD!“
The Two-edged Sword in the above Scripture is THE WORD OF GOD (Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12).
By boldly deploying THE WORD and making WORD-based Declarations and Decrees as led by THE HOLY SPIRIT, we execute on the devil and his angels The Written Judgment (their defeat and destruction!) — This GREAT Honor we have as saints of THE MOST GOD. Praise THE LORD!
I say again what I shared with the sister:
It is a GREAT Spiritual Weapon for victory when you praise GOD in misery. Appellations to Him in affliction, swiftly attract His Attention and Deliverance.
When Jehoshaphat and his people praised Him in the face of battle, GOD did the fighting for them, and gave them GREAT abundance from the enemy.
Why should we bless THE LORD?
Because of Who He is to us and What He has done for us (His Death and Resurrection), and does for us (all His Benefits He gives us):
“Bless THE LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy NAME! Bless THE LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His Benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with Lovingkindness and tender Mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with Good Things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. THE LORD executes Righteousness And Justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His Ways to Moses, His Acts to the children of Israel. THE LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in Mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His Anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His Mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, So THE LORD pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But The Mercy of THE LORD is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, and His Righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His Covenant, and to those who remember His Commandments to do them. THE LORD has established His Throne in Heaven, And His Kingdom rules over all. Bless THE LORD, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His WORD, Heeding The Voice of His WORD. Bless THE LORD, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His Pleasure. Bless THE LORD, all His Works, In all places of His Dominion. Bless THE LORD, O my soul!” Psalm 103:1-22.
So, let us bless THE LORD at all times; not blame Him.
Let us ever bless THE LORD; and never blame Him.
“I will bless THE LORD at all times; His Praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Addison Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.

Awesome word..amen.
Amen and bless the Lord and His Holy Name!
