No matter how exhausted we may be at times during our journey to Heaven, we must keep pressing in to lay hold on Eternal Life.

In spiritual warfare, if you don’t continually pursue the enemy to utterly destroy him, he will do you.

He pursued and tried to destroy me for decades until, by The Grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, I eventually woke up from my slumber and turned the tables on him.

I have been triumphing since then — in spite of very fierce battles time and again.

Many are suffering in The Body of CHRIST largely because they do not engage in HOLY SPIRIT-led spiritual warfare to have victory.

“My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge..“ Hosea 4:6.

When you submit to GOD, and resist the devil he surely will flee from you. (James 4:7).

How do you submit to GOD?

And how do you resist the devil?

Don’t you see how much of The Church is in such a bad shape?

It is because Ephesians 6:12-18 is not adhered to diligently as required of us.

We have to always put on and take up The Whole Armour of GOD and FIGHT! (Please see Ephesians 6:12-18).

No matter how exhausted we may be, we must keep fighting the enemy.

• FIGHT him with THE BLOOD!
• FIGHT him with THE WORD!
• FIGHT him with THE NAME OF JESUS!
• FIGHT him with THE FIRE OF GOD!
• FIGHT him with Faith — THE FAITH OF JESUS!
• FIGHT him with The Armour of Righteousness!

Oh, FIGHT him without ceasing!

In our warfare there is no ceasefire. We must keep firing as directed by THE SPIRIT.

The Bible gave a very highly instructive Testimony of Gideon and his men:

“When Gideon came to the Jordan, he and the three hundred men who were with him crossed over, exhausted but still in pursuit.” Judges 8:4 emphasis added.

They pursued their long-time OPPRESSING enemy (the Midianites) until they utterly destroyed them by The Hand of THE LORD.

We must be rejuvenated by THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, by The Grace of CHRIST, by The Power of CHRIST, and keep fighting the principalities and powers (Ephesians 3:10; 12-18).

“We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body The Dying of THE LORD JESUS [i.e. THE BLOOD!], that The Life of JESUS also may be manifested in our body.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-10.

Many a time, you will be exhausted, even discouraged. But you have to get up by THE SPIRIT, keep on and fight The Good Fight of Faith (1 Timothy 6:12).

How can you go on while exhausted?

Grace. Ask for GRACE! Get Grace for the race.

Only The Grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST can keep the believer going in the race.

As He has said, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My Strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

The problem is, believers are saved by Grace, but most run by grit!

Human grit can only take you so far, and in the wrong direction.

This race is not like the London Marathon, or Boston Marathon, or Chicago Marathon, or New York City Marathon, or other Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) series in which the stamina and strength of Ethiopian and Kenyan athletes often carry the day.

This race is by GOD, from GOD and to GOD; hence It can only be run and finished by His Grace ALONE. Not human stamina!

Doing anything in GOD apart from His Grace is fleshly, and will surely suffer shipwreck.

Therefore, we must always ask for GRACE, depend on Grace, and do it only by Grace.

Stop trying to figure it out with your mind. Stop using your own efforts. Stop pursuing selfish ambitions.

Selfish ambitions are Satan’s ambitions. And they surely end up like him: DESTROYED now in this time and in The Age To Come.

Let THE LORD handle it. Let HIM help you to overcome.

Encourage yourself in THE LORD like David

Sometimes, you may not even have someone to encourage you; but you can’t afford to be discouraged.

You must encourage yourself and keep on fighting.

David had to encourage himself in THE LORD when all were against him. And then he sought THE LORD for His Direction in the matter.

He pursued the enemy, did overtake and recover all exactly as THE LORD had directed and assured him.

( Please see 1 Samuel 30:1-31. )

In spiritual warfare, you can’t afford to stop fighting! To stop fighting. is to start failing and falling.

You have to keep fighting, no matter how you feel. This you do by asking and depending on LORD for His Help.

You have to keep firing in the battle to win.

You have to keep fighting when you are strong, you have to keep fighting when you are weak.

You have to keep fighting when you are joyful, you have to keep fighting when you are in sorrow.

You have to keep fighting when you are surrounded by brethren, you have to keep firing when you are forsaken by brethren.

Oh, even the most trusted and closest can shockingly abandon you!

Some will even vehemently oppose and attack you for choosing to do The Will of GOD

You have to keep fighting when you feel GOD, you have to keep fighting when you don’t feel GOD. ( You must always believe He is there for you and with you. Because, truly, He is. It’s all by Grace through Faith — Romans 4:16. )

You have to keep fighting when it is well, you have to keep fighting when it is not well. And it shall be well if you trust and obey GOD, and not compromise or quit.

How do you keep fighting?

• By thanksgiving, praise and worship (Psalm 100:4).
• Worship GOD in SPIRIT and in Truth (John 4:24).
• Worship GOD based on Who He is and What He can do, and has done in His WORD and Church.
• By waiting on THE LORD (Isaiah 40:30-31).

Intimacy with GOD gives you Intel (intelligence) to fight in our warfare: what to fight, where to fight, when to fight and how to fight.

It is in Intimacy with GOD that He gives us His Intel — His SECRETS and Strategies to use!

Only GOD Strategies win in this war.

Intimacy with GOD, crucially, includes our choice to fear Him. When we fear Him, He will gives us His Secrets and Covenant Provisions (Psalm 25:14).

• By Repentance.
• Repent for personal, parental, ancestral and other sins.
• Repent daily.
• Repent instantly.

Repentance is the fundamental and greatest Portal of GOD’s Intervention, Deliverance, our Ascending, Blessing and The King of Glory’s coming in for our rescue and rest (see Acts 3:19-21 and Psalm 24:3-10, 1 Samuel 7:7-12).

Therefore, go to GOD with profuse contrition in the matter.

“The Sacrifices of GOD are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O GOD, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:17.

Repent for your sins and others’ in the matter, and have them purged by THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

“In Him we have Redemption through His BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins, according to The Riches of His Grace” Ephesians 1:7.

As He has said, “if My people who are called by My NAME will humble themselves, and pray and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

• By depending on GOD’s Grace and Strength and Power (2 Corinthians 12:9,10).
• By being totally dependent on THE LORD, not your strength/ the works of the flesh! (John 15:5, Philippians 4:13).
• By letting GOD give you The Victory, yes, by letting Him lead you in Triumph (1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14-15).
• Let GOD possess the land (His Promises) for you by His Right Hand, His Arm and The Light of His Countenance (Psalm 44:3).
• By ensuring to always submit to GOD, and resist the devil to flee from you (James 4:7).
• By being strong in THE LORD and in The Power of His Might (Ephesians 6:10). Declare it; pray so.
• By letting THE HOLY SPIRIT guide you in prayer and strategy (Romans 8:26-27; John 16:13-15; Acts 9:31).
• By believing, and continuing to believe for fulfillment of GOD’s Promises.
• Keep believing in GOD.
• Keep believing to see fulfillment of His Promises.
• Keep believing to see fulfillment of what He has promised you personally.

The just shall live by Faith (Habakkuk 2:4: Romans 1:17: Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38).

The just shall live by Faith.

Therefore, if you are not believing, you are not living. If you are not believing, you are dying from The Faith!

Many are falling away this way.

Faith is The Armour Above ALL The Armour of GOD He has given us. When deployed, It obliterates all of Satan’s fire power! Hallelu-YAH! (Ephesians 6:16).

As such, if you don’t believe, you lose your most lethal Armour for your defence and offence and security.

Any soldier/ military fighting in battle that loses his/ its defence and offence capabilities is a goner!

This is how serious it is to not continue to be in Faith, yes, to not continue to believe.

When John stopped believing that JESUS was still THE CHRIST, he became offended at Him, and was soon beheaded.

When Peter was walking on water but stopped believing, he was soon sinking — right in The PRESENCE of GOD! He was right before GOD, but was sinking because he doubted (i.e. he stopped believing).

In JESUS’ NAME, bind the spirits of doubt and unbelief. They are the most assailing spirits.

By doubt and unbelief, Eve was easily deceived when the serpent tempted her in The Garden of Eden. And look what trouble we have been in since then!

In spite of The Last Adam having come and shed His BLOOD to clean up the first Adam’s mess, look what a mess the world is, and getting messier by the day.

Faith is a present continuous dynamic in GOD. You can’t depend on past Faith. You have to always have Faith at the present. Faith must be now and forever.

You must have Faith every moment of your breath.

Faith is a “NOW” necessity for living in CHRIST, just like the breath in one’s lungs and nostrils for living in this life!

If a person stops breathing (have no pulse), he is dead. In like manner, if a believer in GOD stops believing, he is cut off from the sustaining Power of GOD!

We are GOD’s special people “who are kept by The Power of GOD through Faith for Salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:5).

We are kept by The Power of GOD for Salvation only through Faith.

This is the crux of THE CROSS: Faith in GOD (Mark 11:22; John 14:1).

It Is written: “Now the just shall live by Faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38).

Therefore, as JESUS said to Thomas (who had doubted that THE LORD had indeed risen from the dead), “Do not be unbelieving, but believing.“ (John 20:27).

• By standing, not quitting!

As oft quoted, “Winners don’t quit, and quitters don’t win.”

Don’t give up. Don’t compromise. Don’t QUIT!

Our GOD is Ever Faithful, Never Failing.

If you would continue to fight for victory, He will SURELY show up to give you The Victory. (1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

Just as JESUS did for the three Hebrew men from Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace, He will SURELY deliver you out of any fire (no matter how fierce), if only you do not compromise or quit.

• Having done all, stand! (Ephesians 6:13).
• Fight and lay hold of it (1 Timothy 6:12)
• Run and obtain it (1 Corinthians 9:24).

That Rock is CHRIST at The Winepress of Calvary!

The two princes of Midian: Oreb and Zeeb (who had tormented the people of GOD for so long), were captured and then killed by the men of Ephraim at “the rock of Oreb” and “the winepress of Zeeb” respectively (Judges 7:24-25).

That Rock was CHRIST (1 Corinthians 10:4), and the winepress indicated Calvary, where Every Drop of BLOOD was pressed out of The Blood Vessels of JESUS THE SON OF GOD for us!

Oh, praise THE LORD!

Calvary was The Winepress of The Wrath of GOD Where He did not spare His OWN SON but delivered Him up for us all (Revelation 19:15; Romans 8:32). And where, at same time, THE CHRIST THE SON OF GOD Himself crushed the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15) and destroyed him the devil (Hebrews 2:14-15).

The principalities and powers wear roundly and soundly defeated at Calvary with a resounding triumph! Hallelu-YAH! (Colossians 2:13-15).

Oreb and Zeeb represent demonic princes we fight today: like the prince of Persia (Daniel 10:13, 20), and the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2) — who is Satan.

Oreb means “raven”, and Zeeb means “wolf” — two ravenous and woefully destructive, devouring creatures that indicate the demonic/ the devil (in this case).

We can only fight and defeat the principalities and powers with THE BLOOD and THE WORD (Which is The Sword of THE SPIRIT, yes, The Sword of THE LORD). (See Revelation 12:11; Ephesians 6:17; Isaiah 27:1).

By Faith in THE CROSS alone, in JESUS’ NAME, crush Satan with CHRIST The Rock, yes, with JESUS CHRIST The Matthew 21:44 Stone; trample and tread on the foe at The Winepress of Calvary as CHRIST has given Power and Authority to do (Luke 9:1; 10:19).

In other words, use and engage THE BLOOD OF CHRIST and THE WORD OF THE CROSS (1 Corinthians 1:18) in battle for victory. The Word of THE CROSS is The Power of GOD by Which we defeat and destroy Satan easily and have victory gloriously.

Are you exhausted?

Thus says THE LORD: By The Grace of CHRIST, by The Power of CHRIST, by The Word of CHRIST, by The Blood of CHRIST, you must still, like Gideon and his men, yes, like David, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” (1 Samuel 30:8).

Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.

NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
