This post is not what I had planned — but The Holy Spirit knows.

He knows who will read this — and this is for somebody today!

God stopped me in my tracks, to let you know He is bringing GLORY out of your pain!

From the place of defeat to the Realms of JOY UNSPEAKABLE!

From VICTIM to VINDICATION!

I was writing a completely different post for today and suddenly The LORD broke into my thoughts and revealed to me the broken hearts of His people.

He showed me that there are many of you who have been abused in some way; both girls and boys, both men and women.

Psychologically, verbally, physically, mentally, emotionally. You have spent years enduring it, blocking it out, trying to escape the abuser and trying to escape the memories.

Some have been abused as children by parents, some as adults by spouses and many many other scenarios.

Know this today: Here is what The LORD says to you, “Beloved. I will contend with those who contend with you.

For many years your abuser thought they had gotten away with the violence and the cruelty.

You have been mistreated regularly and repeatedly and in unspeakable ways.

Never forget that I have always had GOOD plans for your life. But there are people who have been influenced, yes, even possessed by evil.

They made that choice, they chose the way of death and rejected Life. They chose cursing instead of blessing. They chose violence and abuse instead of the Way of the Spirit.

You were not responsible for their choices. Though they had many chances, they would not listen to The Holy Spirit and repeatedly rejected your Savior’s Grace.

I know you have been confused in your mind, and you ask,”Why me?”

I know, My Child. I weep with compassion. I weep tears with you for this was not My plan. It was not My doing.

The devil comes to kill steal and destroy, but I came to bring you Life.

I AM well acquainted with your grief, sorrow and pain. I too was violently abused, rejected, spat upon, and ridiculed and torn apart.

You feel as if a part of you is forever crushed and destroyed.

But know this, My Child — you are Mine!

It is by My Wounds you are healed. Though you are crushed in spirit and body and mind, I will make you whole.

You are not the defeated person the abuser tried to form in you.

But you are a New Creation. The old man is dead — the old has passed away — the NEW has come. You are ALIVE and hidden in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, know this — I hear the cries of the afflicted; I will strengthen your heart.

I will do justice to the motherless and the fatherless and those who lost spouses.

I will vindicate the oppressed. Those who choose terror will strike you no more.

I uphold all who fall, and I raise up all who are bowed down.

I heal the brokenhearted and bind up your wounds.

I give power to the weak, and to those who have no might I increase strength.

I will give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.

Behold, I am doing a NEW THING; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

No longer see yourself as a victim for I make you a victor!

Take off those grave clothes, Dear One. Run out of that tomb of defeat!

The abuser tried to cover you with a garment of violence, but I AM covering you with a NEW GARMENT OF GRACE.

You will be UNTOUCHABLE. The fires of adversity have forged a WARRIOR in you!

Oh yes, My Child!

I will allow no one to oppress you; I will rebuke kings on your behalf, saying, “Touch not My Anointed, and do My prophet no harm!”

I AM with you as a Dread Champion; therefore your persecutors will stumble and not prevail.

They will be utterly ashamed, because they have failed, with an everlasting disgrace that will not be forgotten.

No weapon that is formed against you will succeed — and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn.

Watch and see. I will publicly defend you. I will declare and show Whose you are!

I will bring forth your VINDICATION like the dawn, your JUSTICE like the noonday sun.

I will not keep silent, and for your sake, I will not keep still.

Your Righteousness will shine forth like a Bright Light, your Salvation hits the atmosphere like a Blazing Torch in My Hand!

For My peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition is your heritage, My Child. I will make a laughingstock of your enemies.

For this is the heritage of the servants of The LORD, and your VINDICATION is from Me,” declares The LORD.

“Nations will see your Vindication, and all rulers of darkness your Glory. And you will be called by a new name that the mouth of The LORD will bestow.

Leave the abusers to Me, My Child.

Do not avenge yourselves, Beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath.

For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay!”” says The LORD.
