God Says You Will Recover All!
Saints, sometimes a trail of bitterness, can take you further than you realize.
On a boat, set out to sea, unaware you’ve gotten off course, you find yourself a world away from the promises of God.
All hope seems lost, when then, God brings you to yourself, knowing that you’re not forsaken, as you turn to Him once more, only to find Him! Praise God.
Bitter tears flow, the heart is cleansed, how could you have traveled so far from the One, Who loves and has saved you?
The trials of this present time can wear one out, but if we return to our First Love, return to Christ, we find like David, WE CAN RECOVER ALL! Glory to God!
King David had a Ziklag moment, as he was fighting the battles of the wilderness, when he found himself a world of hurt, everything seemed lost, as the Amalekites raided Ziklag, having burned it and taken all of the women and children.
David and the men wept till there were no more tears, how utterly weak they must have been.
To make matters worse, the men were so bitterly grieved with David that they wanted to stone him.
You can find yourself doing things in your bitterness, blinded to the fact that you’re caught in a pit of grief.
This Message is to give you hope that God is pulling you out of that pit today — Praise God!
Ziklag means “winding,” like a winding trail that you can never get off. That’s what bitterness is, a mountain that you keep winding around, like Israel for 40 years.
David had to wake up that in his waiting on the promise of God to be king, he’d been winding around the wilderness in bitterness. He had to wake up and come to KNOW THE GOD OF THE PROMISE! Praise God!
I’d been here myself, unaware, that I’d gotten into a pit of despair, affecting everything in my life, where my lens became discouragement and hopelessness.
The log in my eye was so great, that I filtered nearly EVERYTHING as a criticism against me, and found myself exhausted fighting a battle, until I came to a spiritual Ziklag, finding everything in the moment burned up!
Amalekite means “dweller in the valley.” This Ziklag moment of bitterness is the Valley of Trouble, like Achor, where in the midst of it you find a door of hope! Praise God!
“There I will give her her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor [troubling] to be for her a door of hope and expectation. And she shall sing there and respond as in the days of her youth and as at the time when she came up out of the land of Egypt.” Hosea 2:15 AMPC
You find out that in the bitter trial, the hungry soul, finds sweetness. (Proverbs 27:7)
David sent for the Priest Abiathar, to get the ephod and seek The LORD. Abiathar means “MY FATHER IS GREAT.”
In your bitter trial, when you come to know that YOUR FATHER GOD IS GREATER, YOU CAN NOT ONLY MAKE IT THROUGH BUT YOU WILL RECOVER ALL!
When David sought God, He instructed David “to pursue and overtake them, without fail, you shall recover all,” and so DAVID DID! GOD DID IT!
This week I saw the personalized tag GOD1D1T for “GOD DID IT.”
Someone here needs to hear this on your rowboat of bitterness, GOD IS YOUR FATHER, HE WILL NOT FAIL, AND YOU WILL RECOVER ALL!
Be encouraged and of good heart, God is with you, He is your healer, deliverer, and Strong Tower!
You will breathe and laugh again, the Joy of your salvation will be restored!
God bless!
“Now when David and his men came home to Ziklag on the third day, they found that the Amalekites had made a raid on the South (the Negeb) and on Ziklag, and had struck Ziklag and burned it with fire, and had taken the women and all who were there, both great and small, captive. They killed no one, but carried them off and went on their way. So David and his men came to the town, and behold, it was burned, and their wives and sons and daughters were taken captive. Then David and the men with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep. David’s two wives also had been taken captive, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess and Abigail, the widow of Nabal the Carmelite. David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in The LORD his God.
David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray you, bring me the ephod. And Abiathar brought him the ephod. And David inquired of The LORD, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? The LORD answered him, Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:1-8 AMPC.
A saint crying out to God for fullness of deliverance and the manifestation of salvation.
