God’s Ways

On the Israelites last stop before the Promised Land, as they were ready to conquer and obtain what God had promised , God had one more plan in place.

Circumcision first!

Now I am sure at this point, they were like “What? Should we not just proceed to Jericho and march into victory?”

Joshua stood ready to march and conquer.

However he knew better than anyone that he had to obey God.

How much sometimes we have to learn and re-learn again that God’s Ways, are not like our ways.

What may appear to be foolishness to us is The Wisdom of God.

Our part is to simply obey and that is what the Israelites did!

There are times we feel so ready to move on with The LORD.

We are brimming with confidence after undergoing such a long waiting period for the promises.

We relish the opportunity to conquer the world before our eyes. We are ready and think we are qualified — and then God says, “Wait a minute, My Child!”

God desires to birth something precious in your life.

He is arranging things that you may understand the circumcision of Gilgal.

As I speak of circumcision, it is one of the heart. God has a goal in mind.

He desires to roll away the reproach of Egypt from you. He is removing every taint, every trace that the world has tried to instill in you.

It is a season where the flint knife is being used upon your heart. You are being set apart for The Kingdom Purposes to be birthed.

The Vision has become clouded with dirt and dust, but God is re-focusing your vision and removing every bit of Egypt from your lives as you journey through the wilderness.

He is marking the beginning of your healing process. The dawning of a new day!

He cannot put new wine into old wineskins. It is the sign of an end of a long tiring journey.

Rest in him and his healing as you pause at Gilgal.

Immerse yourself in his rivers of love and wait upon him for a new day is coming!

Demolition Dust

Shew! Do you feel it? It is all around you!

It is the Demolition Dust!

It’s decades old dust from inside the walls in your life that have now come down, and it’s all making way for the new things God is doing.

It is a rare moment with God when the dust ever seems to settle!

There’s always something that kicks it back up — some new encounter, new tension, new movement or wind of the spirit!

You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning;

Wake up and shout for joy.

Rise from the dust and shake off the mantle of death.

That travail has caused some things to take their first breath from The Almighty!
