““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14.

If you’re anything like me, you probably often wonder what that means.

I do — frequently!

In Jesus’s days, almost any miracle that He performed almost certainly boggled the people’s minds — they’d never seen anything like it before, had they?

Yet He said we will do the same and GREATER!

I’ve been privileged to see wonderful miracles — like Frank the biker healed as we watched, — of over twenty different injuries sustained in a serious road crash.

Like little Peter, given new heart and lungs and now a completely restored, normal little boy.

I’ve heard of, and read, of resurrections. I’ve even heard first hand of limbs being generated.

We’ve probably all seen RW Schambach relating the 26-fold miracle [video] he witnessed through AA Allen’s ministry.

We also used to run the street outreach and healing team for our old Church here in Rotherham — for three years. Many good stories came from those times too!

I’m also privileged to know, or have known, four people raised from the dead!

♥ My mentor prayed for Annie on the phone — she was raised.

♥ A lady in his house group was similarly prayed for and raised.

♥ A Norwegian lady, our hostess on visits to Norway, was raised after she died on her sick bed.

♥ And a bit closer to home, my mentor himself was in hospital having surgery for a very serious condition. He was deemed to have died about a week after the operation, but Jesus came to his bedside to take him home and he protested, “But LORD, I haven’t completed what you called me to do!”

So The LORD sent him back — only to find several very concerned folk around his bed in the hospital.

I knew this, because Linda and I had gone for a walk to pray for him. Suddenly, I knew that I knew he had died.

I told Linda and began weeping. We phoned my mentors wife who told us excitedly that the hospital had called and relayed the whole story to her — good news was, he was alive and recovering!

Greater things?

“Marvel not!” says The LORD, “Rather give Praise and Glory to Me for greater than these shall you see in the coming days.

As Revival sweeps your land, you must EXPECT great miracles — many SPONTANEOUSLY!” says God!

“This coming Season of Harvest,” says The LORD, “shall be one of great and mighty demonstrations of My Love and My Power.

I AM bringing such miracles as are beyond the grasp of a grown man’s imagination — only a child could imagine such things!

Expect the “Impossible!”” says God.

“My Church is mostly powerless,“ He says, “because you pray such small prayers — you ask such little things — you expect so little!

You ASK LITTLE, so you RECEIVE LITTLE!

Yet I AM sending My Spirit to walk among you with such power as you truly cannot begin to imagine and in these coming days, I will demonstrate My Power and I will reveal My Glory, and the whole Earth shall be shaken out of their unbelief!”

“Wake up Church, to your true destiny in Me!” declares The LORD God Almighty.

“I AM coming in Revelation and Power and the world will realise again who I AM — The Alpha and Omega — The LORD God Almighty!”

I want to dedicate this post as an encouragement to our Church evangelism team, as they go on the streets of Burton and Derby.

Witnessing and testimony speak volumes to the unsaved and to the sick.

One day soon, when we move a bit closer, we may join them again. You may want to dedicate it to your local team too.

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 2,

“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:4-5.
