I find it constantly encouraging when The LORD does or says something unexpected — like today — just now!

I was sitting in my chair, unwinding from a bit of a hectic day, when I heard a distinct but muffled thump, thump, thump in my spirit.

I listened again. There it was again — thump, thump, thump.

A steady rhythm.

I quickly realised it wasn’t an actual, audible thump, but something my spirit was picking up in the heavenlies. Before I could start asking Him, The LORD spoke.

“Hear that? It’s the Heartbeat of Revival!”

I’d never heard of that before, so I started to pay closer attention.

“I don’t get excited like you get excited….”

He continued, “My heart doesn’t start pounding, I don’t let it! But I do let it raise slightly when things are going really well!”

And as if to demonstrate His point, I heard the rhythm increase until it sounded like a horse’s gentle canter. “Thumpety, thumpety, thumpety.”

I felt my own heartbeat coming into sync with His. “That’s enough!” He laughed, “You need to sleep later so you don’t need too much excitement now!”

“But LORD, I didn’t know that Revival has a heartbeat? Why am I hearing it now?” I asked.

“When would you normally hear a heartbeat?” He replied

“Only if you’re very close.”, I said.

“Exactly! Only when you’re very close!

I AM releasing The Holy Spirit to pour out the living Oil of Revival all over you!

You hear the heartbeat? That’s how close to you

He is right now! His Presence will manifest wherever He’s allowed to do so!”

By this time I was spiritually excited but, checking my own heartbeat, it was more or less normal!

I felt His Peace envelop me — just like it does when He gives me dreams and visions.

Time for me to stop writing and listen as He is about to speak.

More as I’m allowed to release it!

Pray for revival oil to be poured on you, wherever you are.

Pray to hear The Heartbeat of Revival for yourself, your Church, your town . . . .

It’s close, reach out for it.

The LORD is waiting for you.
