“I Know You!” Says The LORD — 2 Comments

  1. Praise God!
This morning I was looking at(again) Heb1:3. One of the descriptions of Christ is that He is the HYPOSTASIS Strong’s G5293. The word is a combination of Hypo = under, and Histemi = to be set, placed. One of the meanings of Hypostasis is “essence”, which has different meanings but one refers to fragrance. As Christ was placed under God, and was crushed, He brought forth a sweet fragrance, just as the slain lambs burnt on the alter for sins. We to, as we submit to be His Body, “under” His Headship, His Bride, we too will offer the beautiful fragrance of love and obedience(sacrifice), which is True Worship and Relationship, becoming One with He and The Father.
Oswald Chambers said today; “behind the deed of obedience is the reality of Almighty God”.
