Evangelizing is connecting people with Jesus.

Here are two points to remember when speaking with others about Jesus.

1. Talk about Jesus

Talk about Jesus, not about you or them.

If you talk about your faith or what they can do, then do it, but do so later on in the conversation.

The Holy Spirit says: “Talk about Me. Get the focus off of them and onto Me. Yes, it’s good that they repent, read The Bible, listen to sermons, and more.

But it’s who I AM, that will cause them to seek Me with all of their heart.”

“…the goodness of God leads you to repentance.” Romans 2:4.

2. Listen to Jesus

During the conversation, tune into what The Holy Spirit is saying to you.

Jesus wants to reveal His heart about them to you. You have the ability to share with them about what Jesus thinks about them.

Lastly, Jesus is always with you and He will guide you as you speak, and He is proud of you for speaking about who He is.
