I’ve posted a few times about The New Sound of which The LORD has given me samples.
I am finding it, or rather hearing it, more and more often as we attend meetings in our own Church and, just as often, in other folks meetings that we attend occasionally.
Imagine my delighted surprise to find this Poem in my message box. It sums everything up beautifully — simply — but at the same time, profoundly!

Incidentally, I’ve never attempted to read/speak poetry before so this is entirely my attempt at interpretation…
Listen to the Sound
Listen to the Sound
Released from the deepest realms
Listen hard
Again & again
Until your hear
What it is saying
Feel it
Breathe it
Release it
Let it awake sleepers
Come higher
Come Deeper
Let it carry you
On its waves & breakers
Sounds of disruption
Bringing chaos and confusion
Rhythms of distinction
Harmonies of the creator
Reaching into higher regions
Unlocking deeper dimensions
Opening doors to corridors of glory
Where secrets are told
And mysteries unfold
In allegories & metaphors
Truths revealed and gifts received
New Sounds for new responsibilities
For the future times
Listen,…Be Still
Hear the Sounds that can’t be made
Drawn from deeper realms
Songs rewriting all the rules
Expanding
Clarifying
Can you hear them all?
Catch the tune
Hum with the melody
Playing from within
Untangling histories
Clear your mind
Again & again
Synchronise your senses
Be ready to receive
Everything they hold
Resonate
Resound
Let freedom free
To multiply
Abound”

This beautiful Poem just captured my imagination.
It encapsulates much of what I feel when I hear ‘that sound’ and, actually, it reflects what I’m hearing more and more.
I hear ‘that sound’ everywhere — in almost every meeting we attend. For example, this is a part of something I posted this last week on Facebook. See also for a related Word: “The Sounds of Revival“
Last Sunday morning was just so special!
“Prayer Watch before the main event was amazing and the time went by in a flash.
The presence of The LORD was amazing. Then during Praise and Worship in the morning service, The Holy Spirit once again manifested His presence and that was awesome.
The preach was also so anointed. Altogether a most amazing morning.”
Just as an aside here :—
The sound I’ve been referring to was manifestly present and it sounded like many more than were present, we’re singing.
Harmonies mixed in beautifully and then came a period, several minutes, of silence — no-one, not even babies, uttered a peep! The presence was tangible.
Back to my Word :—
“Then in the afternoon we visited a Filling Station meeting where once again we had a glorious Spirit filled time. Met old friends and spent the night in a little jewel of a hotel.”
Once again, choirs of angels joined our efforts — gently but again tangibly.
If I am seeing and hearing these things, I know I’m not alone — well, I know that from the reactions I get to my posts — and I know many of you are hearing the same things.
Let me finish with part of a post I wrote last Wednesday.
“I heard The LORD speaking about OUR praise and worship.
Our worship is of vital importance to the coming season of Revival and carries keys that, perhaps, we know not of, neither, perhaps, do we fully understand.
Keys which The LORD can use to open doors we cannot see; keys to doors which we hold and must give to God for Him to use rather than us!
Isaiah 22:22 speaks about God giving us a key, perhaps keys.
Could it be that, rather than us opening doors, the key is for us to give back to God as ‘permission’ for Him to open that which we can’t.
The LORD says to us all, “Worship until I fill the room, then continue until I bring Revival!”
Worship will carry revival! I’ve even had reruns of old, genuine events in meetings we attended, where the worship ushered in that undefinable presence of God accompanied, seemingly, by an angelic choir swelling the volume to sound like hundreds singing rather than the relatively few who were actually there.
Bring on the Worship. Put your heart and soul into it. Let it pour from your belly like the river that Jesus spoke of. Rivers of Praise and Worship!
That’s what I see in my spirit!
Worship that expels demons and ushers in Holy Spirit just by its being.”
That’s Worship that calls for and receives the presence of angels and the manifest presence of The LORD.

Dearest brother Chris, for this your broadcast I cannot be silent. I listened more than once to your heart touching message. Quote: I hear the angels singing, I hear the choir, I hear the harmonies, the interaction between the voices, its wonderful to hear worship that expels demons and ushers into His Spirit. Your advice, put your heart and soul into worship, I will do ! 10 years ago a choir leader of a huge missionary church choir said 2 times to me, that singing would not be my gift or skill, and that there are many other tasks in churches. But GOD…. He trained me. I know that I am not good in soprano tune, but I am skilled by His grace to sing the alto part in choir. And guess what an absolute professional choir (and symphonic orchestra) leader said when he listened to my 1st rehearsal in December, in an alto part I first time ever sang in “O little town of Bethlehem” – he said it sounds “excellent”. I thought this was way too much complement, but why I share this (with tears now): I always had on my heart to sing praises for the hearts being touched and for the Spirit of GOD being tangible, and for revival. And a lot of psalms are telling about praising GOD with singing in His house. Blessings to you and to all who read this.

What a wonderful testimony. I am certain that you are a far better singer than I am a speaker. I’m aware that, as a speaker, I have the charisma of a cardboard box, but I also know from the reactions I get that God takes my pitiful offering and He consecrates it for His glory. May the Lord continue to use us for his glory and to draw people to Himself.
