“The great day of the Lord is near–near and coming quickly. Listen! The cry on the great warriors will be bitter.” Zephaniah 1:14

Great news, did you hear a magnitude is coming and that means the little ones are waking up! Hallelujah!

It’s coming quickly and as we gather with family and friends over the rest of the week, our prayers and posture of thanksgiving towards the Lord will be powerful becoming God’s Arsenal ushering their great day in the Lord!

Over and over I am hearing, “Mark 19”.

Those who are familiar with the Book of Mark know there are only 12 chapters! So what’s Mark 19 and how does it impact our prayers?

If we look there are four basic forms of prayer:

• Prayer of Blessing and Adoration (praising God) — We do this every day in our individual prayers.
• Prayer of Petition (asking for what we need, including forgiveness) — Doing this often keeps us from grieving the Holy Spirit.
• Prayer of Intercession (asking for what others need) — This is what needed. We need sit at the foot of Jesus in humility and prayer for each other and for the lost.
• Prayer of Thanksgiving (for what God has given and done) — These prayers become our worship of the Lord.

All form of prayer helps us to be grateful for God’s many blessings, spiritual and temporal, and helps us to recognize and appreciate all the good things God gives to us.

Reserving some time to praise and thank God for his gifts — the gift of life; the gift of our families and friends; the gift of food, clothing, and shelter; and the numerous other gifts we often take for granted — helps us to form a true spirit of gratitude which is a like a grenade launcher in the spirit realm.

So after a Google search I found The Mk 19 is a grenade launcher also pronounced Mark 19.

I believe God is saying our prayers are considered grenades. Isn’t this fabulous?

I found the MK19 is an American 40 mm belt-fed automatic grenade launcher that was first developed during the Vietnam War.

It’s a belt-fed, blowback-operated, air-cooled, crew-served, fully-automatic weapon that is designed not to cook off.

If we look to the dictionary’s meaning of blowback, it’s actually a propelled force.

Blowback — the escape to the rear of gases formed during the firing of a weapon or in a boiler, internal-combustion engine, etc. — the action of a light automatic weapon in which the expanding gases of the propellant force back the bolt, thus reloading the weapon

The Mk19 stability can be found in its tripod! Ha!

We have a tripod too — God, His Holy Spirit and Jesus. The holy trinity tripod! Hallelujah!

This Mk19 weapon operates on the blowback principle, which uses the chamber pressure from each fired round to load and re-cock the weapon. And it fires 40 mm grenades at a cyclic rate of 325 to 375 rounds per minute, giving a practical rate of 60 rounds per minute (rapid) and 40 rounds per minute (sustained).

Symbolizing every minute of our prayers blowbacks the enemy’s footing. Are you enjoying this analogy as much as I am?

The Mk19 launch range to its target is about 1,500 meters (1,600 yd) which is long range.

And it has a flash suppressor that serves only to save the eyesight of its operator, not concealing the weapon’s position. For night operation, a picatinny rail quadrant sight can be added for thermal and night vision optics.

How awesome…. when our prayers are prayed in an assembly, we can be compared to this amazing machine by God!

We are firing grenades that have a long range and are right on target and through suppression the enemy does not have access to our location. God conceals our location by His protection.

Saints, if you are being awoken at night to pray, you are sealed by God and a chosen prayer warrior.

Just like in the verse 14, chapter 1 of Zephaniah, our bitter prayers will usher in the magnitude who are spoken of Revelation 12. It’s time to ask the Spirit to show you your position.

We are quickly approaching the end time revival and we are to be in position holding our M19’s.

Not sure how to pray? “Groans that words cannot express” (Romans 8:26) are often prayers that God cannot refuse.

I am hearing we are to specifically pray for the broken, lost and the hardened-hearted.

These are the ones God is calling. They are his sheep but have been wounded so badly they can be difficult for us in our day to day lives.

They are the victims of our enemy and have been chained to his footstool because they feel unloved, unappreciated and even used by others!

“Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.” Acts 12:7

This is the way God works. It is in our darkest hour, Jesus walks over to us and takes our hand, just as an angel came to Peter’s cell when the day of Peter’s execution dawned.

“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.” Acts 12:5

Over and over, I am seeing and hearing people radically changing their routines because they feel an emotion bursting from within.

Their spirit is waking up and taking the wheel and their soul is delivered. How Glorious is this moment to witness such a move of God!

This wake-up of society’s slumber will transform our world.

“I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne, and in front of the Lamb,” Revelation 7:9.

In a dream, I saw millions walking crossing the ocean floor while a wall of water was parted in front of them. It was a Red Sea moment and it’s coming…. If you missed my post, here is the link.

“Come on . . . ! We have seen that the land is very good. Aren’t you going to do something? Don’t hesitate to go there and take it over. . . . God has put into your hands, a land that lacks nothing whatever.” Judges 18:9–10.

Remember, there was no earthly help available when Peter was in prison awaiting his execution, and the church had no human power or influence that could save him.

Help could only be obtained by way of heaven and as the church gave themselves to fervent and persistent prayer, God sent an angel, who “struck Peter on the side and woke him up” (v. 7).

Then the angel led him past “the first and second guards and [they] came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself” (v. 10), and Peter was free.

Do you see “Mark 19” as our command that there is something definite for us to do and that nothing is ours unless we take it?

“The children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance,” Joshua 16:4 KJV.

“The house of Jacob will possess its inheritance” Obadiah 1:17.

“The upright shall have good things in possession” Proverbs 28:10 KJV.

As I was preparing this Word, I was reminded of the old saying:

“A child was once asked what appropriating faith and he answered, ‘It is taking a pencil and underlining every ‘me,’ ‘my,’ and ‘mine’ in the Bible.”

If we read a word God spoke and say, “That word is mine and we put our finger on an its promise and say, “It is mine”, then we can do the same for those we are praying for!

How much of God’s Word have we received collectively as a race?

We can declare they have been endorsed, and are given His promises and say, “They have been fulfilled and signed by God by His promises.”

“My son, . . . you are always with me, and everything I have is yours” Luke 15:31.

Then mankind will not and cannot miss it’s inheritance through our own neglect.

When faith goes to the market, it always takes a basket.

Do you see people waking-up around you?

This is a call for Emergency Grenade Prayer and it begins with you and me praying for those just entering The Beautiful Gate.

This could be God’s last great awakening — and we were called by God for intense prayer!

I heard, ”When the person himself becomes the Prayer — nothing can resist its touch.”

Elijah bowed to the ground on Mount Carmel with his face between his knees, and he became the prayer.

Spoken prayer or prayers of groaning is always needed when an intense battle awaits us. In the case of Elijah, his entire being was in touch with God and was aligned with Him against the powers of evil.

And Elijah’s evil enemies could not withstand this kind of prayer in human form — something that is greatly needed at this moment!

They will be set free in Christ when we pray fervently and persistently in faith to God,

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. . . . Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose.” Acts 16:25–26

I am hearing many of you have just entered your wilderness season, but God will use this season to shape and refine you in His Fire and it begins with intercession.

You can count on His faithfulness as His child that He is loyal to His purpose for your life.

For those just exiting your wilderness, you are being asked to sore like an eagle! You are to “Rise above and sit with The Father.”

The Father has special directions for each of us Acts 16:6

I heard, “Many things are not what they seem….”

But God is doing a new thing, let Him move and you move with Him and through you! Watch Him work in your life.It is always safe to trust God’s methods and to live by His clock.

God in His providence has a thousand keys to open a thousand different doors in order to deliver His own, no matter how desperate the situation.

May we be faithful to do our part, which is simply prayer for those just beginning to wake up and to place Christ’s part on Him and then leave them there.

“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb . . . they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Revelation 12:11

Let us not forget, Difficulty is actually the atmosphere surrounding a miracle, or a miracle in its initial stage.

Yet if it is to be a great miracle, the surrounding condition will be not simply a difficulty but an utter impossibility.

No one is impossible for God — and it is the clinging hand of His child that makes a desperate situation a delight to God.

“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.” Mark 1:19
