Our New Beginnings!
This is still my #1 target for the coming year, same as every year!
Our New Beginnings!
As we pass once more over the 2025 New Year, The LORD just asked me, “What is your hearts desire for this coming Season?”
I answered this yesterday on a reflex action.
Today I answer it in full with this quote from Psalm 51:
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Psalm 51:10-12.
“Create in me a pure heart, O God” — This is the main thrust this year! Oh, we’ll see harvest, we’ll see Growth, we’ll see Gods presence manifest in our meetings — virtual or real, we’ll see Revival perhaps — but without a pure heart we’ll not sustain it.
Without a pure heart seeking only a His will, His agenda, we’ll be throwing much of it away again.
Without a pure heart, a heart not totally surrendered to God, we’ll lose it all again.
“Renew a steadfast spirit within me” — keeping my focus upon The LORD.
Sticking with the jobs He gives me. Believing for a His will alone — on earth as it is in heaven.
“Do not cast me from your presence” — oh the very thought of separation from God makes me weep.
“Nor take your Holy Spirit from me” — and the thought of losing The Holy Spirit . . . . (Shudder)
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation” — Yes! Yes! Yes! LORD help us restore the wonderful joy we first experienced at salvation.
Help us carry that joy everywhere we go. Let us carry afresh each morning the joyful presence of our LORD.
“Grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me” — and LORD, in your Mercy, energise me anew every day so that my spirit is always willing and my flesh never weak.
Let me walk and run like a youth. Let me soar on eagles wings to see everything from Your perspective.
Sustain me Father God, that I may show Your love to every single person I meet and never let me differentiate between them, nor show favour or preference.
LORD, I only want to reflect You in this coming year.
This coming year is many things to many people but to me, personally, it’s a year of getting so close to God you can’t see the join: a year of personal holiness — dying to Me so that only He may be seen.
May I invite you all to join me in 2025?
It’s a year of New Beginnings, starting with a clean heart.
Come — join me?
~ Chris G. Bennett
Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.

Thank you for the nice Blessing. Staying Hopeful in 2025.
AMEN & TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY AS HE BRINGS US ALL INTO THE NEW!! LORD, THANK YOU FOR STARTING WITH CREATING WITHIN US A PURE HEART, REFRESHING AND RENEWING A RIGHT SPIRIT WITH US! GIVE US THE DESIRE TO WALK HUMBLY & UPRIGHTLY BEFORE HIM AND REPENTING DAILY BEFORE HIM! HELP US TO SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM AND LOVE HIM AND EACH OTHER, UNCONDITIONALLY, THE WAY THAT HE HAS CALLED US TO!
Amen to all the above. Yes Chris we are singing from the same hymn sheet. Psalm 85 being my key scripture for this year, praying for revival and Psalm 51 is key, the verses you quoted and it was key in the Hebrides revival. Close relationship with God, pure heart clean hands. I see Psalm 24 was also quoted, it is those people who will ascend the hill of the Lord and receive a blessing – what the Lord has placed on their hearts to pray for. God continue to bless you and all yours, your ministry and continue to use your for His glory in Jesus Name, amen.
You are singing my song Chris. I am coming down to the finish line FINALLY to soon have my book on the HEART finished. Yes, no matter what else, we must guard our heart Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you and Linda! xoxo Sandi
God bless you Sandi. A happy new year to you and Gerry
How powerful, Chris. I loved the truth and how you put it!
Many blessings for you & yours in 2025
Many thanks and blessings to you and yours for the coming year Joyce. To be honest, this post has been my annual New Year’s Day post for a few years now. But it remains my hearts desire for both Linda and I for the coming year. Just to know that it blesses you in some way, blesses me too.
AMEN!
