O ELOHIM, You Are My ELOHIM
A psalm to praise and sing to GOD, out loud.
O ELOHIM, You Are My ELOHIM
O ELOHIM, You are my ELOHIM.
At dawn I search for You.
My soul thirsts for You.
My body longs for You in a dry,
parched land where there is no water.
So I look for You in the holy place
to see Your Power and Your Glory.
My lips will praise You because
Your Mercy is better than life itself.
So I will thank You as long as I live.
I will lift up my hands to pray in Your Name.
O ELOHIM, You are my ELOHIM.
I walk with You written on my heart.
My mind fixed on You.
My Spirit listening to Yours
in a dying, impermanent land full of noise.
Your Voice guides me, keeping me safe
Even through the passing darkness.
My lips will praise You
because You will never leave or forsake me.
So I will thank You as long as I live
I will lift up my hands to pray in Your Name
O ELOHIM, You are my ELOHIM.
I am wonderfully and fearfully made
You make me strong
You make me ride on eagle wings
Far above the heavenlies
You have made me worthy and holy
Made in Your Awesome Image
My lips will praise You
because of Your Lovingkindness.
So I will thank You as long as I live
I will lift up my hands to pray in Your Name
O ELOHIM, You are my ELOHIM.
In the evening I will not be afraid.
I put my soul in Your Care.
I put my body in Your Care.
While I sleep no harm will come to me.
So in peace I will both lie down and sleep
for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
My lips will praise You
because my sleep will be sweet.
So I will thank You as long as I live
I will lift up my hands to pray in Your Name.
O ELOHIM, You are my ELOHIM.
