A psalm to praise and sing to God, aloud.
O LORD, You Are Good!
O LORD there is no one else like You
For You are good in everything You do
There is no shadow or variation of turning in You
You take what the enemy meant for evil and use it for good
All things work for good for those who love You!
O LORD, You are good!
Verily, verily, You are good in every way!
O taste and see how good The LORD is!
O LORD there is no one else like You
You are not a man that would lie
Your Word is Light and Truth
Unimpeachable and absolute
Only You, only You, only You are good!
Your Goodness shines through
With Your Mercy and Grace
Your Goodness shines through
With Your Judgment and Vindication
Your Goodness shines through in the lives of those who love You!
O LORD, You are good!
Verily, verily, You are good in every way!
O taste and see how good The LORD is!
In Your Garden abounds such goodness:
The sweetness of honeycomb and apple
The fragrance of myrrh and blooms of henna
The air filled with the cooing of turtle doves
And the singing of sparrows…
Across the land You bring refreshing rains
Filling up fountains, wells and streams
Trees spread forth their leaves
The gazelles and does of the field rest underneath
The fig trees and vineyards form green fruit
O LORD, You are good!
Verily, verily, You are good in every way!
O taste and see how good The LORD is!
The very air we breathe
Every provision we receive
The shelter over our heads
You know what is good for us
Keeping us from the little foxes that would spoil our vineyards
You preserve us, O LORD
You protect and guide us, O LORD
You keep us from deception, O LORD
You keep us from the dark schemes of our hearts
Saying “This is the Way. Walk in it.”
O LORD, You are good!
Verily, verily, You are good in every way!
O taste and see how good The LORD is!
O LORD, You transform us from glory to greater glory
You are the author and finisher of our faith
You are the potter and we are the clay
And the good work You started in us
You WILL complete…
