Our Anger can Reap Negative and Lasting Effects on Others! (Part 2)

Good morning.
Here is a song I pray will bless you, by two of my favorite worship leaders.
Today I will share again a link that was written before on this subject.
Here is one excerpt from the article:
“Why don’t we do it God’s way? Let us take heed to our ways.
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” Proverbs 15:1.
We have to always remember once our words are released from our mouth there is no taking them back!
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21.
Still we can pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reduce the effects of our choice in our words.
Also we need to ask the Lord’s forgiveness and others that we have wounded with our words.
Now several scriptures to read around for more meaning and to compare.
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19.
“He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.” Proverbs 14:17.
“He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.” Proverbs 14:29.
“He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” Proverbs 25:28.
“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:” James 1:19.
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” Ephesians 4:26.
“A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.” Proverbs 12:16.
“An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.” Proverbs 29:22.
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21.
The crux of it all: If we are Christians we need to seek to live and walk in the Spirit.
I will now close out for today.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:22-26.
God bless everyone.

Thank you Mary Mary for your input. This is absolutely spot on my sister. Your words are so true about leading by example. There is no place for retribution as you spoke. What has happened to the church? Too many divisions and schisms. A lot is ‘show’ out there. God bless you. ❤️
AMEN!! I agree and I pray that those in LEADERSHIP would ESPECIALLY Realize this and Put This into practice! YES & So true: “The crux of it all: If we are Christians we need to seek to live and walk in the Spirit.” We as Christians should especially lead by example! TOO MANY are focused on retribution , and Either they don’t know, or maybe they have forgotten that that VENGEANCE belongs to the Lord! Matthew 12:37 reminds us that: “BY OUR WORDS, WE ARE JUSTIFIED AND BY OUR WORDS WE ARE CONDEMNED!”☝
Joyce, this is so powerful! “We have to always remember once our words are released from our mouth there is no taking them back!” Those words somehow are lodged in the receiver’s heart and they are put in position to forgive as an act of their will..etc and also be very careful not to judge the person who spoke. I have learned that the tone of someone’s voice when angry sends a double message of what is flowing out of their heart! Thanks for sharing, my sister and forever friend. Love you! Sandi
You spoke a mouthful Sandi Holman when you spoke about the tone and the double message there! I always value your input! Thank you for bringing that point out. I love and miss you sis. Wanting to read your newest release as soon as possible. Heart hugs always. ❤️
