Passing through Suffering in Victory
HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY
PASS THROUGH SUFFERING IN VICTORY
“The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want… though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…,” Psalm 23.
“When you pass through suffering you realize that it was never meant by God that Psalm 23 should strengthen you. It is the Lord who can strengthen you, not the Psalm which speaks of Him so doing. It is not enough to have the Psalm. You must have the One about whom the Psalm speaks. We also knew the verse: “My Grace is sufficient for thee.” But the verse is not sufficient. It is the Grace which is sufficient and not the verse.”
[Quote taken from writing by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, (a Romanian Christian minister of Jewish descent) one who suffered as a Christian in Communist Prison for many years, for being a Christian]
We have the Bible and it is dear to us all, and is the ROAD MAP so to speak and the very FOUNDATION of our Faith. BUT, the mere possession of the Scriptures is NOT ENOUGH when it comes to Suffering such as Torture at the hands of God haters and evil unbelievers.
THE POSSESSION OF THE REAL HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONLY WAY TO WALK THROUGH GREAT SUFFERING IN VICTORY. For those who only read the Scripture there yet is ONE who you must fully KNOW and One who you FULLY TRUST, to LITERALLY STRENGTHEN YOU AND CARRY YOU.
Just having the Bible in hand WILL NOT BE ENOUGH, but you MUST HAVE A INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP AND KNOW the REAL LORD JESUS CHRIST. If any does not have this very personal Christ RELATIONSHIP then he or she will not fare well in suffering.
