Send Them! Send Them!
Could it be, that we may have done some things less than best on our journey here?
Many can recall that we had a set goal; one we likely need to think about once more. We even sung about it: “This world is not my home, I’m just a passing through.”
My treasures are laid up. Not here. And the angels beckon . . . But, there is work yet to do now.
The Spirit bids us to remember discernment; knowing that which is good and bad. Isn’t it time, that I should look at my attitude; both then and now?
We see the world is rocking; so let’s not waste time debating. There is no way of telling what is in front of us.
I see people’s lives that are being completely changed, even in a moment of time. Accidents, and tragedies of all kinds. Testing and trials, are at an all time high.
We need to know who is good and who is bad; and that can come only through the Spirit.
I read just now what was said of people in Christ’s time. Though they saw all of the miracles He had done, they still did not believe.
But you know what He said about that? Even if they did not believe, He was not going to judge them.
He did not come into this world to judge them, He came to save them. And He still needs our help.
If we exercise the discernment we have been given through the Holy Ghost, we’ll know things. That’s why we have it.
It must be said again, that it is crucial that we listen to the voice of God and be led in a spiritual manner. Try the spirits, test the voices you hear and begin again to knowing the voice of Jesus.
This is a reminder. We’ll have to go deeper in the Spirit, if we are going to navigate these troubled waters.
Through that depth, we will find believers of like faith. But that may be only one side.
Can God trust us enough today, to send people to us? There is no time to delay back and forth over the things we have debated in the past.
Is it possible that we may have made some mistakes before, in our witnessing to others.
I’ve been too condemning and likely judgmental in my walk, requiring some things, that I only heard from others.
We must re-think some issues. We can no longer judge by what is on the outside of a person.
Can we see their heart? No, but the Spirit can. A true Christ-like spirit of love can.
I won’t get through with this message; it’s far too great for one person to carry. This idea of requesting someone be a full grown plant, when they are mere babies in the LORD, must go. We will need help and others will too. We need to hear this.
Today, I can’t forget another old song we once sung: “Wait a little longer, please Jesus. So many are still wondering out in sin. Just a little longer, sweet Jesus. A few more days to get our loved ones in.”
Yes, I want Him to come now; today. But He has kept us all here for a reason.
While we are waiting, we must be about our Father’s business.
Have we progressed; have we changed?
Do I care?
Can He send them to us today?
