Sheep Status!

Many claim “sheep status” — but are neither humble nor follow His way.

They won’t submit to His way, nor will they submit His breaking, so that He may carry them.

They like to wander. They claim to be “saved” and follow Him, but will not let Him be LORD over ALL of their lives — submitting obediently to Him 100%.

Following 100%, means staying in His pasture in the position and the place of His choice.

They think they can keep wandering and then bleat/ cry and He’ll just come running!

I know people who feel they have been broken by life and been given a bad shake, so to speak, and so they refuse and fight against the breaking of The LORD, not understanding and trusting in His Goodness.

Abraham loved His God and obediently listened to God, trusting Him and took his only son Isaac to the Altar to offer him up to God. (Genesis 22:1-19)

The sheep love the shepherd and they trust him. That makes me also think of God the Father, Who laid His ‘Isaac’ down.

Jesus followed Him, because He trusted in Him.

Isaac didn’t turn around and run — he surrendered to the Altar!

Many will say “LORD! LORD!” — and He will say, “Depart from Me, I never knew you!” (Matthew 7:23)
