Chatting with a good friend, Martha, one morning a couple of years ago, she said, “I do totally believe He is coming but I feel it’s going to be when the world is in absolute upheaval (which may not be far down the road).

Then, and probably only then, the world (or much of the world) will be more than ready to welcome and receive Him with open arms. Because we will be so desperate.”

Then she added, “I long for a move of God like this. To see hospitals and nursing homes emptied out in a day. To see miracles that will leave us with our mouths agape! To see addicts totally delivered in an instant. It’s going to be glorious!”

She also made references to “the best of times, the worst of times”, a quote from Tale of two Cities by Charles Dickens which she received a couple of years ago — a quote which others recent words have also used.

To which I replied, “I don’t think you’re very far adrift with this Martha”

I followed this with a short few comments when I felt The Holy Spirit nudging so I asked Him to come back with the reason for nudging me.

This is what I gleaned from Holy Spirit as I considered that phrase ‘best of times, worst of times’.

With immigration attracting more and more demonstrations both of public approval and disapproval; with France in turmoil, Belgium rioting over it, and with Italy joining the ‘revolt’ against the European Union, (and The United Nations, among others), and other situations arising all over Europe, it’s all coming to a head right now.

Then, we have the complete turmoil that is American politics at the moment, with everybody trying to finger-point and blame everyone else, Democrats trying to derail or even impeach the president, and Mr Trump ready to lift the lid off every globalist agenda.

IF, as I believe, these two ‘herds of buffalo’ simultaneously break into stampede mode, which is getting very close, THEN we shall see the Lord release The Holy Spirit in ALL HIS POWER upon the world in REVIVAL.

There is coming, we’re actually in it, a short period of unprecedented political upheaval in the Western world such as has never even been imagined, which will cause utter chaos in the worlds financial systems.

Simultaneously, I believe, The Holy Spirit will begin to pour out His Power in such a way as will bring almost instant revival ¯ such will be the effect of all these events.

As Martha said, “To see hospitals and nursing homes emptied out in a day. To see miracles that will leave us with our mouths agape! To see addicts totally delivered in an instant. It’s going to be glorious!” and YES, I see these things happening too.

Most importantly — please note — none of this is unexpected!

This has been prophesied for centuries going back to Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel and the rest.

It has been recognised and prophesied these past few years — decades even.

I cite Daniel 7 and Revelations 13. As Jesus Himself said of the signs of the times, “You know how to read the signs of the weather but you do not understand the signs of the times!
Let he who has eyes to see and ears to hear . . . .”

This really isn’t anything new.

This is the culmination of 3,000 years of Prophecy! The evidence is all around us — are we awake yet?

In the midst of “the worst of times”, we shall see “the best of times”.

What happens then?

Only Father God knows!

As I was typing this all up, I had a brilliant confirmation of the everything I’d written.

“And You are
Way maker, miracle worker
Promise keeper, light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are

And You are
Way maker, miracle worker
Promise keeper, light in the darkness
