Speak the Name and Plead the Blood of Jesus Often — 8 Comments

  1. Amen! The Lord recently laid on my heart to get the book “Tortured for Christ”, “In God’s Underground”, and a few others of Richard Wurmbrand’s books.  We need to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted and prepare for the same ourselves in the days ahead.

    • Lynette, yes we do need to pray for them!
I have read the first one. Also Foxes book of Martr’s.
What terrible things Christians have had to endure but oh the grace and the glory that was poured out on them!
I truly thank you for stopping by and commenting. May we ever be faithful until death, even at a martyr’s cost. Blessings

  2. Yep! You are singing my song again…the heart the heart, dear friend. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” Proverbs 23:23-27.
I absolutely love that song, very anointed..nothing but the blood!!!!! His name above all names. You are such an encourager of simple TRUTH. I love you sister, Sandi

  3. Dear Ms. Joyce, your messages are always a blessing and resonate in my spirit. The songs you have chosen to accompany your messages have especially ministered to me of late. The one for today is a particularly powerful song that I listen to on my way to my school and in my classroom before the children arrive. Thank you for curating and selecting such carefully chosen songs to go along with your message. The Lord bless you and keep you. Sincerely, Gabriele

    • Thank you Gabriele for letting me know. What a blessing to see it has uplifted you! If just for you I would have shared.
God bless and keep you, and strengthen you as you teach those little ones.
What an awesome responsibility and privilege. I know you must be a Godly teacher God bless, Joyce

  4. Luke 22:20 Amp 20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant [ratified] in My blood.
Sometimes the term pleading the blood can take on a religious context, Jesus is very clear when speaking of his blood showing His (the testator) death which ratifies the New Testament. When applying this to someone’s life situation let’s pick healing. You would search the New Testament Jesus will and see if anything is said regarding your health or healing which you will find several times in several illustrations you might sense one vs speaks more than another like 1 Peter 2 24 which ends by saying by His stripes you were healed. You bring this before God s throne and enforce Jesus’s will as you do this you know that your request is answered because it is in Jesus’ last will and testament Jesus cannot deny Himself

    • Jay thank you for your time you took to respond. I love the scripture about with His stripes we are healed in Isa. 53:5
The Precious blood of Jesus is to be applied in all ways.
You are certainly right, Jesus cannot deny Himself.
      God bless you.
