The Master of The Threshold
There is a sound rising from the earth. It is the Sound of longing. It is the whisper of the Bride who lifts her eyes above the chaos and ignores the noise of a weary world.
She turns her heart toward the One she loves.
The Spirit and the Bride say,”Come.”
It is Divine Communion. Heart to heart.
“Come.”
The Spirit BREATHES it. The Bride echoes it. Creation itself cries out for it to manifest.
The Bride does not call for a kingdom.
She is calling for her Bridegroom King.
It is all about Him.
She patiently waits to hear His Footsteps.
His Voice calling her name.
This is the holy longing placed within the Remnant.
A Fire that burns within them
“Come quickly, Lord Jesus.”
“Beloved.
“I AM already walking toward you. Every tear you cry for My coming is a jewel in your crown of waiting. Every whisper of ‘Come’ is answered by My whisper, ‘Soon.’
I hear the cries on the Winds of The Spirit.
Rising from the earth.
Do you not know, My Child,
that this longing was written into your heart
even before you were born?
For as in the ancient wedding of My People,
the Father prepares the House,
the Son prepares a Place,
and the Bride watches for His appearing.
Many have written stories based on this Ancient Truth.
The hidden daughter lifted from ashes
The sleeping beauty awakened by true love’s kiss.
It is the longing in mankind for his Creator
The One in whose image he was created.
The Design of Heaven
Creation remembers what heaven designed and it is not a fairy tale.
This is our Covenant. Your longing is not weakness, but it is the Echo of My Promise.
“Come up hither”
Like the Wise Bride who keeps her lamp burning,
You watch for the return of the Son
whom I have sent and will send again.
For just as in the Jewish wedding,
the bride does not know the hour
only the Father declares the time.
And when the Moment has come
The sound of joy shall break forth
like a wedding procession at midnight.
Do not think I have forgotten you.
I AM already moving toward that Day of Union.
I AM preparing, aligning, calling, and sealing.
Fear not, The Blood has been placed over the Threshold.
Lift your eyes, beloved Bride.
Your Redemption draws nigh.
For I AM sending My Son,
the Bridegroom King,
to gather the One He loves.
The Spirit and the Bride say,
“Come.”
And I, your Father,
have heard.””
THE BETROTHAL : In ancient Israel, marriage began with a covenant agreement and a bride-price. After this, the couple was legally bound, though not yet living together. This is reflected in Jesus: He established covenant through His sacrifice. The Church becomes His betrothed Bride.
“My beloved is mine, and I am his.” Song of Solomon 2:16.
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
THE BRIDEGROOM PREPARES A PLACE : After betrothal, the groom would return to his father’s house to prepare a dwelling. The bride waited, watching for his return.
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” John 14:1-3.
NO ONE KNOWS THE EXACT DAY OR HOUR : The bride did not know the exact hour. Tradition says only the father could declare when preparations were complete.
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:36-37.
THE MIDNIGHT PROCESSION : When the time arrived, the groom came with a shout and a procession to receive his bride and bring her to the prepared place.
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18.
THE WEDDING CELEBRATION : After the bride was received, a wedding feast followed, often seen as a picture of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb:
“Let us rejoice, and be transported with joy, and let us give glory to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself.” Revelation 19:7–9 SLT.
INTERESTING FACT : When its says “THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME” the word for ‘SAY’ is Strong’s Greek #3004: légō: meaning “laying an argument to rest,” i.e. bringing a message to closure; (see Curtius, Thayer) properly, to speak, moving something to a conclusion (bringing it to closure, “laying it to rest”).
Amen and amen! 😃
COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS!
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.” Revelation 22:16-17.
“And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.” Revelation 22:7.
“For, “In just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay.”” Hebrews 10:37.
