The subject of prophecies, visions and dreams, plays a major role in the lives of believers today and it will do the believer good to heed true inspired prophecies, dreams and visions, for they are channels through which God speaks to His people!

But to have a proper understanding on this, we must understand that the place of these channels in the Old Testament slightly differs from our time.

In the Old Testament, the SPIRIT of God comes upon the prophet who is the only inspired vessel bringing the Word of God to His people. In the New Testament however the SPIRIT dwells IN the believer, a privilege that the Old Testament saints did not have. They never had a romantic relationship with the Lord like we have today, and as such had no ACCESS into the DEEP things of God.

By the Spirit of God indwelling and resident in us, we operate on higher grounds and covenant established for us by the sacrifice of Jesus tearing the Temple veil giving us direct ACCESS. Hallelujah!

Because of these thin lines between both these generations of saints, the former needed Prophets to show them the way. The highest form of guidance then, was the Prophet.

Under the New Testament, our highest form of guidance into the divine will of God in any venture be it marriage, business, career etc is by the INNER WITNESS of the Holy Spirit! True prophets RECOGNIZE that every child of God hears God and will always respect this about a child of God!

It is also pertinent that the believer knows one thing here. PROPHECIES CAN BE USED AS A MANIPULATIVE tool to CONTROL you, if you are not spiritually sensitive to the Holy Spirit of God who resides within you!

Please note that, things about your destiny should not come to you as a surprise, when a prophet or so called prophet speaks them. Every child of God is SUPPOSED to know about it, and the prophecy of the prophet confirms what is already KNOWN relating to your life and destiny.

When the prophet prophecies something totally contrary to what THE HOLY SPIRIT TELLS YOU IN YOUR HEART, you MUST be careful not to allow prophecies derail you.

PROPHECIES can be manipulative in nature, if it is not inspired by God, and can bring people under a control spirit and this is not God! God CAN NEVER bring you under a CONTROL spirit.

When it is a control spirit, then it is not God! The Spirit of God leads to freedom, not CONTROL!

A true prophet or prophecy void of manipulation will always check to CONFIRM with what the Lord has revealed to you as an individual.

Sad to say though, many people have been lead astray by so called prophets and prophecies. This shows their spiritual state as babe’s! NO TRUE PROPHET OR PROPHECY FORCES YOU. THIS IS A CONTROL AND MANIPULATIVE SPIRIT! Break from it.

I believe in dreams, visions and prophecies. I have been in the prophetic ministry for over a decade now and my prophetic ministry gets sharpening every day as I know Him more through His word!

I have, by His Spirit, spoken into people’s lives and it confirms what they already know. I have spoken prophecies on international platforms for nations and we have seen them come to pass!

In the coming year, I honestly will advise that every child of God should get to know God intimately and personally and understand how to discern His leadings.

Do not fall a victim of misguided derailing prophecies…

No hard feelings against any one. I am just protecting you from error! At least I owe you that!
