The Power of One — The Power of Choice

The Power of One — The Power of Choice
For several days, The LORD has been speaking to me about CHOICE and the power He has given me as a child of The Most High God.
The words we choose to speak have the power to send a message.
God’s Word says they are life or death. (Proverbs 18:21)
Our words flow out of our heart.
Most people who read this know that I speak a lot about guarding our heart and some versions of that bible Verse remind us to ‘keep our heart’.
My heart was grieved yesterday as I read some words on social media as well as the “NEWS” I heard on the radio. Much of what I heard were words of personal opinion and harsh judgment.
Suddenly I heard the voice of The LORD say to me, “How will you choose to respond?
Will you speak life or death — or will you choose to be silent?”
He then said, “You have written much about the power of two in agreement and also a three-fold cord — but I want to talk to you about the POWER OF ONE!
You have been given a CHOICE to speak life or death.
You can choose to be silent and pass on by but in your silence, you will also send a message that others will interpret in their own way.”
As I have been looking back on my life and writing about the heart, The LORD has been speaking to me about people who have deeply impacted my life, both good and bad.
In the last few years, I have wrestled many times with the actions of some people I have known in many different circles that have grieved my heart, made my heart sing, or left me in a moment of wanting to pass judgment on their actions to me personally
Beloveds, actions speak louder than words!
So I want to just share what The LORD has shared with me personally that have gotten my full attention about The POWER OF ONE!
Recently, I was crying about something I knew I could not change, “Daughter, do not let regret have a place in your heart regarding others.
You must first deal with your actions that allowed regret a place in your heart.
First and foremost, you must forgive yourself for things you cannot change.
Then you have the CHOICE to embrace Godly wisdom to rightly discern the difference and let go of those things you cannot change.
After you are gone from this earth, how do you desire to be remembered?”
I immediately recalled some words that have impacted my life greatly from some who are now with The LORD, both good and bad.
Beloveds, as I now sit in silence before The LORD today, my thoughts shifted to what is going on in the world, The Church, and in the lives of those whom I know personally, and I said, “LORD, every one is talking about Revival and many are prophesying it is just ‘around the corner’ — but today, you have quickly brought my attention to my part in Revival and the truth about The Power of ONE!”
In the last few days, I have received several emails from people whom I do not know personally that warmed my hurting heart.
Immediately, I felt the love of The LORD sending unexpected love and encouragement for things I have shared which The LORD had given me.
Honestly, gladness and joy filled my heart!
I remembered something The LORD said to me recently, He said, “Revival means different things to different people — and everyone has their own perspective as to what it is and how it will take place.
‘Revival’ begins in the heart — and in the mouth!”
He brought back an incident not long ago when I prayed for a life or death situation, and was shown the spirit of death hovering over a person.
When I commanded it to leave and was rejoicing over the healing, negative words rose up out of the victim’s mouth that still spoke of expectation of death — and at that moment darkness and death filled the atmosphere as she invited death back through negative words.
Then the Father spoke this reminder, “You must stay in agreement with the spirit of LIFE. Your words have power!”
Remember, The Word in Romans 8 plainly says
“The Law of the Spirit of Life has made you free from The Law of Sin and Death!” Romans 8:2.
Death has no victory, unless you invite and enact The Law of the Spirit of Death — in your own words!
Speak Life! Let LIFE be the full expectation of your heart! Yes, it is a matter of life or death!
We tend to remember words spoken of warning spoken to us as a child. My Nana always said, Sandi, “Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth.”
I remember a Bible Teacher once said to me, “You live out of the overflow of what is in your own heart.”
Back in 2024, in the Word, “We Must Set Priorities!“ The LORD spoke a Word to me about priorities that is so timely for this moment. I share a piece of it here:
[…….]
“The Nations of the world are all faltering in one way or another and AMERICA is at a Crossroads that will change their destiny for good or bad.
As I heard this in my heart, I pondered the fact that we are facing CHOICES and PRIORITIES at the same moment.
Please don’t miss this window of opportunity — for the hour is late!
The LORD spoke clearly to me this morning, “Beware of double-mindedness in this time of chaos and unbelief that is vying for your constant attention to keep you from your appointed assignment to carry out what has been entrusted to you for these end-times.
You are a light in the darkness.
I have brought you to a time to choose to be willing to live with the temporary pain that reality often brings.
The inflation that is at work in the finances of the world, is releasing a ‘poverty mindset’ that is depressing and oppressing the world and The Church,” says The LORD.”
Today The LORD continued to speak to me that The Power of ONE is also the power of two in agreement when I am speaking His Words.
I thank you LORD for the freedom to Choose and activate the Power of One.
Angels are not allowed to think and choose for themselves; they do and say as they are told.
- I choose to accept the responsibility that comes with the freedom to make choices in my life.
- I thank God that Satan has no right to move on my choice unless I allow him.
- I choose to live the abundant life because I chose God. I live in abundance and not lack.
- I activate The Power of One to declare a thing and it shall be established.
- I choose to receive with gladness the divine privilege and responsibility to make a choice.
- I thank You for The Power of One to choose to live by Faith.
- I thank you LORD for the opportunity to decide to place the Word of God as the final authority in my life and the influence and power of that Word when I CHOOSE to Act on it.
- I thank You for the right to choose my thoughts as well as my words.
- I choose to act on truth and be Your Disciple.
- I choose to make the choice to receive healing. I must decide to be healed in order to receive it.
- I thank You for forgiving me for the times I chose the truth that I was healed but I let the enemy come with his lies.
- I thank You for teaching me how to hold fast to your truth, seek Your Face and stand firmly on Your Word as I fought the good fight of Faith for myself and others.
- I choose to make a quality decision to face every choice I must make with an attitude of determination and discipline to follow hard after truth for when we know The Truth — The Truth will set us free!
- I accept The Truth of the word ‘Disciple’ that says I will be disciplined unto You. For the moment, all discipline is painful, rather than pleasant but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it. (Hebrews 12:10)
I love the way The Passion Translation says in Hebrews 12,
“So be made strong even in your weakness by lifting up your tired hands in prayer and worship. And strengthen your weak knees, for as you keep walking forward on God’s path all your stumbling ways will be divinely healed!” Hebrews 12:12-13.
“For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.” John 8:32 TPT.
I look back on my life as a professional dancer and teacher and thank God that this spoiled brat only child was put in dancing school at the age of 4 years old!
I know that was the beginning of understanding the power of discipline as I learned to practice to perfect and develop my skills and teach others.
My we all continue in His Word and renew our minds that our actions will be transformed.
”So the wicked hate the Light and try to hide from it, for the Light fully exposes their lives. But those who love the truth will come into the Light, for the Light will reveal that it was God who produced their fruitful works.” John 3:20-21.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21.

The Power Of One this is so true and the power in the tongue you are the prophet of your own life is it cursed or is it blessed? I was married to a very negative man everything that came out of his mouth was very negative, judge mental and critical so after 45 years God has had to rewire my mind because it rubs off and I feel like I’m living in a new world and see the benefits of speaking positive, so the last 5 years has been a journey and my Lord has shown me how good life can truly be. I feel blessed beyond measure God is so good. Hugs my friend.
Isn’t HE wonderful Pam? Isn’t HE all knowing, all healing, just ALL of everything we have longed for? Oh He is the rescue squad for us when we are abused, used and deceived. When He comes in to carry us away, He heals, delivers, provides, and deeply loves in a way that we are cleansed, delivered, and polished to shine with His love for all who need Him to look and listen as we sing our song, “Look what the Lord Has done”!! Hugs and peace as we press on my sweet friend, Sandi
