This is a call to Fasting!

Maybe fasting as a lifestyle.

“It’s time to Fast!” says The LORD, “Time to show Me that you are serious!

Fast a day a week, or one meal a day for a week!

Show Me your commitment to My Kingdom.

Then I will show you My Power for this hour!”

I hear the cry of God’s heart today — “Fast for My Kingdom on earth!”

• Fast for renewal.
• Fast for revival.
• Fast for reformation — it is the anniversary of Luther’s courageous act, October 31st 1517.
• Fast for your family.
• Fast for your neighbours.
• Fast for your town/county/ country.
• Fast for health breakthrough.
• Fast for financial breakthrough.
• Fast for other peoples breakthrough.
• Fast a meal.
• Fast a day.
• Fast a week.

Choose your style!

Our lifestyle lends itself to fasting a meal a day — breakfast or lunch.

Either is easy for us.

It may be harder for you, so choose a pattern that fits your lifestyle.

Not everyone can do a 7/ 21/ 40 day fast.

I can’t, so we chose a meal a day — fasting from 6 or 7pm until midday next day.

Some days we take off, but most days we follow the pattern we’ve chosen.

We fill each morning with attending to God’s business — the after 7pm but is easy following our main meal of the day.

Choose your reason! What are you fasting for?

Make it a family fast if you are able to do so?

Be careful of the health aspects. e.g. I can’t fast long periods because of kidney problems, even though I’m healed, I still have to be careful.

Pray about it before committing to anything and see what The LORD is asking of you, personally?
