Numerous times, The LORD spoke these Words: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit sayeth to the churches.” [Revelation 2:29, 3:22]
May we ask the question today, what is The Spirit saying to the church?
What is the last utterance we can say we have heard?
How did it come to us, and what exactly did He say?
We don’t have to be a prophet for The LORD to speak to us. But if He spoke in an audible voice to men and women of old, He would surely speak something we can hear in our time now.
How much have we heard?
It was once frowned on if someone said that an audible voice spoke to them. We know that Angels spoke to people in the Old and New Testaments — then why would they not speak to us now?
They do! It might be necessary to question just how deep have we gone into The Spirit; have we entered another realm that is only known to those who desire it.
It came to me clearly some time ago, what Jesus himself said. “My sheep know my voice, and another they will not follow…..” [John 10:5,10:27]
When He speaks to them, they know who He is and they follow what He is saying and instructing them.
We know The Holy Ghost is a teacher; Jesus said that this Spirit would teach us all things. Perhaps in this case, it is a still small voice that speaks to us, but we hear clearly what He is saying. He speaks to our spirit.
LORD help me when I say this. I have no desire to belittle anyone or take away from their experiences.
Not everyone is hearing from The LORD. It may seem to start that way, but yet you can quickly hear the flesh begin to speak.
There is no unction of The Holy Ghost in some of these [Facebook] messages; self is speaking loudly and some of the promises are not true.
It takes true spiritual discernment to tell the difference. We must know the difference in this hour. Many people are being led astray by putting faith and confidence in those who are not genuine.
Most of us know the scripture about trying the spirits to see if they be of God [i John 4:1]. But do we know how to try the spirits?
What have we been taught about that; can we do it today?
I don’t want to do this, but I am doing my best to follow what God would have me say. Can someone explain to me what are all these things that are being decreed and declared?
I don’t remember so much of this in the past — or about those who are taking power and dominion over the whole country, or all those everywhere who are now going through bad times and so much oppression.
They are binding everybody’s problems and taking authority in all parts of peoples lives declaring they are freeing everyone.
In The Fear of The LORD, I have one question. Where are they getting all of this power?
I believe that kind of Authority and Power is found in Intercessory Prayer, and when we are praying in The Spirit. The most powerful work is done in the Spirit realm; with an unknown kind of language.
True Spiritual Warfare cannot be done in our human form. You can only fight certain spirits in The Spirit!
The enemy is not afraid of our own natural spirit. Our own spirit is so full of errors and selfish motives and at anytime, the works of the flesh can take over.
It takes being genuinely filled with The Spirit to conquer that. There must be a constant communion with The LORD to know what to do and where to go.
The Gifts of the Spirit are not human attributes and they cannot be genuinely operated with our flesh. Paul said to pray continually; and we have to if we wish to have a chance now.
So many things some of us do is out of ignorance; we simply don’t know better. It happened in Churches and Ministries in past days.
If we make it our decision to follow the leading of The Holy Ghost, we are sure to find the right answer and the best direction.
It’s trying to do all this on our own that has caused so much loss and so many unnecessary mistakes. How many times do we actually hinder the work of The Spirit, trying to be the lead and work from our head?
I can tell you what we must be willing to do: to listen; be willing to make changes and corrections in our way of ministering that will make us more in tune with what God actually wants.
I repeat here that I am nothing or nobody; I don’t claim any titles and I can only do something when God shows me.
You see, I’ve tried being in control and forgetting to stay humble. I always made a big mess.
We have to study the Word to show ourselves approved unto God; so we won’t be ashamed. That we are “rightly” dividing the Word of Truth.
