What is the Condition of Your Heart?
I often think of Derek Prince Quote that I have framed from long ago that put me on my search regarding keeping my heart, The heart has been my focus ever since Derek Prince laid hands on me in the early days of the Charismatic movement to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I share it as a preface here.
“The condition of your heart is going to determine the condition of your life.
Guard it with all your strength.
Don’t let any evil in.”
As I listen to the News and all the bad reports as well as the attacks and criticism of President Trump, my heart is grieved and I find myself crying out to The LORD for wisdom on how to pray.
He spoke very quickly to me today, saying, “There is no time to waste. Seize this day!
Yes, these are sobering times, and My Word says, they are the beginning of sorrows.
I have prepared the Army of The LORD to fight the good fight of Faith.
They have been selected for this time. They have been tested and tried and prepared with a military mindset. They have learned to obey quickly.
This is no time for selective obedience. Selective obedience is the same as complete disobedience.
The bond of My Love in them shall keep them focused with a single eye to destroy the deception that is sweeping all across the world.
Perfect alignment to fulfill your assignment shall work together as my people walk in Faith in these end-times as never before.
It is the weapons of your warfare that will draw unbelievers and the back-slidden to the truth, says the One who is TRUTH.
As I have said many times, these shall be remembered as the best of times and the worst of times,” says The LORD God.
“Yes, It is a Set Time for many things.
I AM interrupting the program of the enemy that is attempting to change the world.
I AM making a worldwide announcement that I AM the ruler of the world.
There is much to be done and I AM redeeming the time.
So, I ask you, What is the condition of your Heart?
Have I not warned you that you must keep your heart with all diligence?
Check your heart with diligence for the enemy has come to bring fear and destroy The Fear of The LORD, in those who are not guarding their hearts.
I AM stretching your faith as you must look to me for all your provisions.
You must trust me with all your heart. You cannot see with the natural eye what lies ahead.
So, beloved, this is a time to wrap your heart around the reality of my goodness and step out with new hope and perseverance.
I AM opening new doors of restoration to bring strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
You shall go forth with a heavenly perspective to establish your heart with peace that passes understanding.
This is war and you are the Army of The LORD.
Make no mistake, the weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty!”
As I was writing this, The LORD brought me back to a Word which He gave me a long time ago, of which I keep a copy in my Bible. He is prompting me to share it here again today.

This is so good and yes it is always about the heart. Hugs Pamie
I appreciate you sharing your heart, dear Pamie. It all begins in the heart and we are cautioned by the one who made us to guard it with all diligence because it has many issues (smile). I sometimes stop and consider the definition of issues and I am amazed at the real truth. In His Love, Sandi
Love it..thank you.
You are so welcome, dear Sis. In His Love, Sandi
Amen! So beautiful Sandi and standing in agreement. You are so good in expressing God’s heart.
Today your post and Pastor June’s and Jennifer Peikert’s and couple from Iris got me so moved from our holy amazing God! It’s hard to get enough time for God. It is not enough!
It is sad a lot of people are so critical on voted officers. Maybe we do not always vote for them or like them but scripture is sure we pray for them anyhow.
Thank you so much dear Beata for your kind words of agreement. As most everyone here knows, God has called me to write a book about the heart. It is finally coming together as He desired. I saw some good agreement on their posts as well. In His Love, Sandi
Thank you, dear Cliff, for that very special bottom line truth that is the key to our life on this earth “EMBRACING THE FEAR OF THE LORD” and striving to be Holy as He is Holy. I agree, Derek sure set the bar high by being “one of a kind” while setting the example, we are each given a unique gift and call to express that ONENESS with the only one who can change a heart. I appreciate your response of trust that shall enable you to obey your spirit and cling to the truth that never fails. His love shines brightly in your responses. Many as you press on. In His Love, Sandi (btw, where do you live?}
Thank you for your kind words.
We are in Asheboro, NC. Moved here in 1995 from upstate NY.

WOW! I was born and raised in Tennessee where I live now but I lived in NC for a long time (twice) and miss it every day. My youngest son, Todd Hedgepeth and His wife, Vickie had the YWAM Charlotte base there for over 30 years and now are serving as leaders in many places. I used to go to NYC every summer to study dancing (my first profession) lol! Until, God said, I called you to the nations(smile) and I followed my son to YWAM and fell in love with Singapore! God is Good.
Thank you for this word, Sister. Derek Prince’s teachings have guided so many of us into a deeper understanding of God’s love for us. Embracing the fear of the Lord, because of His love, keeps me accountable for how I respond to my circumstances and the stand I must take daily. That daily self-reflection makes it possible to activate His love and forgiveness in my interaction with others. Not letting my pride and anger interfere with that because of MY heart condition builds my faith and allows the kindness of His love to be reflected. Trusting Him, once a monumental mental/emotional battle becomes a slow, quiet walk. Responding to your thoughts by writing this has helped me embrace these truths. Appreciate your words more than you know. Blessings.
