”Words” and Threads of Love and Light
These have been busy ministry weeks… and while it has been so precious and powerful to have the ministry Encounters… it’s been difficult to find my treasured “lingering spaces” of respite with my Beloved LORD…
I just long to lay at the feet of My LORD
and worship… soaking Him into my being afresh…
He whispers to my heart this morning
as sunlight rises to greet the day…
and here, once again…
….. captures my heart…
bringing me into the sacred rest
of His Presence.
My heart immediately quiets
as I turn my gaze (my thoughts)
towards my LORD…
Oh LORD,
to be still
in Your Presence
Held
in Your Light
strengthened
by Your Love
soft..
responsive
yielded
anticipating
You
I feel the Breath
of Holy Spirit
fill up my being
once again
as gentle bird song
filters through
my open window
Thank you
for your faithful
responsive Love
always
with us
holding us
Through every
season
of our life
(Psalm 27)
This morning for someone I hear:
“LORD, where are those gentle thoughts towards me… Why am I finding it so difficult to draw near?”
and I hear from the LORD, “Blessed is the one who is not offended in Me…”
I hear an invitation to lay the burdens of disappointment at the feet of Jesus…
Allow The Holy Spirit to clear out any hurt that separates you from believing in His faithful Love towards you.
You might begin with a prayer like this:
“Dear LORD, how I long to be close to You, and feel the tangible nearness of Your presence, and Your “song of love” over me….
I give You full access to my thoughts, so that I may come into agreement with Your life-giving thoughts over me.
Clear out all the dross in my thinking that blocks Your Love, keeping me from that intimacy with You…”
Individual Words and Threads
I hear,
“The Father is always speaking…in these days He speaks through His Son.” Hebrews 1:2-3.
“Yeshua is speaking through His Blood. His blood speaks a better Word.” Hebrews 12:24.
“The Holy Spirit is speaking the deep things of Father’s heart and the testimony of Yeshua to our hearts.” (1 Corinthians 2:10-16)
For someone,
The Father is speaking to you: with each and every sunrise He speaks Hope for a new day, and gladness that you are His Beloved child, “Let your Faith arise and greet Him with deep gratitude.” (Romans 15:13)
For someone else,
Yeshua, is speaking to you: “Draw near, and don’t shrink back…
My Blood is still speaking for you.
It covers even that sin that still entangles and ensnares you… that for which you are so ashamed.
Come to My Cross, receive my full payment for you, and for that which holds you in its grip.
Let My Love and My Sacrifice speak on your behalf.” (Colossians 2:14-15)
For another one:
The Journey recently has been quite “brutal”… You have come through much betrayal, still holding tightly to your Beloved, yielded to His refining processes as you go through this crucible.
He is releasing you entirely from “their false judgments and word curses” re-integrating you with your “true self” and His original intention for you. (Hebrews 10:32;35-37)
Release forgiveness towards a leader who would not step out of their comfort zone, and take their designated place as an undershepherd of the LORD in order to properly cover and protect you, and the rest of the sheep.
Ask for the mercy of God upon them. (Psalm16)
For “a butterfly heart”:
Yes! It is the delight of The Holy Spirit that fills your thoughts and your senses!
You are responding to the very Ruach HaKodesh, “Breath of God” as He both fills you and alights upon you throughout your day.
Don’t be afraid of your child-likeness… It is not “childish”… It is a precious quality in you that allows you to respond to My Love and Light for yourself and on behalf of others!
“You have made known to me the ways of life; You will enrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence.” Acts 2:28 AMPC
For young parents:
Do not fear having to bring correction as you continue to bring up your little ones in the loving admonition of the LORD.
Do not fear boundaries- they keep your child safe.
There is a balance between a “wisdom that doesn’t spoil” measured in the “strength of tender love”…
Confidence in this approach will cast out all fear. (Ephesians 6:4)
And for you, “precious soul”:
You feel forgotten… but you are not forgotten in Father’s heart. He sees all that you have done to serve when no-one else knew…
The hours in prayer- tuned deeply to Holy Spirit on behalf of others… lifting their burdens to Father’s Heart….
He knows all the Love and Light from His heart you have woven into tender lives — so needing comforting, and the affirmation of His love.
Heaven holds you dear precious one; look up and rejoice. (Hebrews 6:10)
Word to Fuel Faith for Prayer and Adoration:
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness.
For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.”
God’s Everlasting Love
What then shall we say to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn?
Christ Jesus is the one who died — more than that, who was raised — who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our LORD.” (Romans 8:26-35;37-39) ESV
“Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.
Give me not up to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and they breathe out violence.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living!
Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!” Psalm 27:11-14 ESV.
In conclusion, be strong in the LORD [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. (Ephesians 6:10 AMPC)
