Words — We Must Speak them Carefully (Updated)
Good morning.
The subject of speaking right words and ‘guarding our tongues’ was much on my heart today.
“But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” James 3:8-10.
I wanted to get into the Book of Ruth, but timing is off yet, I feel.
To the ones who know me or my posts, I love to try to encourage others.
Still we must warn The Church if needed.
It is just really important to warn in a right fashion that people can even hear us.
- We all need The LORD to help us!
- No man can tame the tongue!
- Only as we yield to The Holy Spirit can we overcome!

“We must guard our tongues always as Christian Soldiers of the Cross.
Still right now I feel there is a Special Warning to the Body of Christ! We are at the ‘end of the end’ of time as we know it!
Let’s always keep a right relationship with our Father and each other.
You see, we may not have the time to get things straightened up! We don’t want to call nothing in effect that is not Holy and of God. It is a choice to either speak life or death for the power is surely in the tongue.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21.
One thing when we slander others, whoever they be, it causes a ‘ripple effect’. Our words literally are full of life or either death.
We have a choice. We can operate in the gifts of the Spirit or ether flesh!”

We need to choose to guard our tongues and only speak life!

Yes I agree Joyce. The Lord told me watch your mouth you will either speak life or death in your surroundings or body so I have been watching what I speak. I lived with a husband for 45 years and everything that came out of his mouth was negative so the LORD has had His work cut out with me and after his passing 6 1/2 years ago The LORD started working on me of taming my tongue to speak positive and I was Christian but I didn’t realize how much he had rubbed off on me. Now I can see the difference in my life. God is so good all the time! Blessings
So true Joyce that we need to speak life in our everyday occurrence. I realize that I must make a conscious effort to do it on a daily basis.
