This Word is partly for all nations.

We have all been guilty of seeking earthly political solutions and need to be more aware and pray against that.

It is particularly timely for The United Kingdom, though.

Those with eyes to see will understand so I need not elaborate. Meditate carefully and take it to The LORD in prayer.

The LORD says, “They thought he was a buffoon — but the joke is on them.

The people have concerns that leaders have not addressed.

They have felt ignored and unheard.

Resentment when hidden is poisonous. It has festered and broken out into sores.

The people are turning to him in droves. They think he is the answer to their problems.

You agree.

You see what’s wrong and know it is not in My Will. You actually think he can rescue you.

You think, the boil needs lancing and he’s the one to do it.

You endorse him. You excuse his flaws and empower his followers’ ungodly behaviour as justified by your concerns.

Some of your concerns are valid. But you wag your finger instead of getting on your knees and lifting your hands to Me.

When you do pray, it is to ask in your way for what you want. You do not seek My way.

Some of your concerns are worldly nonsense. Lies, hysteria, hatred and fear.

You have enabled all that is worst in people and you don’t accept any responsibility.

You are even gullible enough to believe and spread AI-generated images of your Nations as a post-apocalyptic hell.

Hell is where I AM not.

If your Nations really were in hell they would not look as they do now.

However bad you think this is, I AM still with you and I AM still for you.

I AM the solution!

You are not babies. You should know this.

Your choice of future leader is equally problematic. He is not what he seems.

Beware the bonhomie!

Beware the good humoured friendliness!

Beware the posturing as an outraged citizen!

Beware the glib responses, the stunts and the propaganda!

To Me, he stinketh. He has done much that is not pleasing to Me.

He is unrepentant. His language is divisive. “Boys will be boys” is no excuse.

You were saved by the Word of God in the body of a son of David. Making light of the deaths of the children of Abraham is deeply offensive to Me.

By excusing him you dishonour Me. His behaviour and your prayers for him have risen like a stench to Me.

I AM The LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt and into the Promised Land.

I AM The LORD who saves.

You shall have no other God but Me.

Look to Me for your Deliverance.

Only I release your feet from the snare.

He is not your Messiah. I AM.

You keep doing it. You keep on looking to ordinary people to be your saviour.

You keep choosing a “stopgap saviour” from the people you can see, and when they are in office you continue being disappointed by them.

Then you turn on them like a pack of wolves and tear them apart.

From Blair to Johnson, before them and beyond, the names keep going through the revolving door as shining heroes coming out tarnished.

So here we are once again, with you knowing there’s something wrong but asking Me to fall in with your choice while excusing vile behaviour.

Why not ask Me what is My Will for you?

I say, choosing him is choosing a “workaround”.

It is “Make Do and Mend”.

I can use him, if that is really your wish.

It is not My will, though. You have asked Me to put your choice in place but you haven’t actually asked Me what I want.

I make all things new.

If you had asked Me 40-50 years ago according to My Will, I would have told you to ask Me to raise up champions for Me in your green and blessed nations: Spirit-filled, Word-loving, God-fearing men and women of strength, integrity and wisdom, who walk blamelessly, humbly and uprightly before Me.

If you had prayed faithfully since then, they would be sitting on those benches right now.

Instead of yet another “make-do-and-mend” leader and their hodgepodge cronies hanging off you like a hole-infested, hand-me-down jumper and torn coat, disappointing you at every turn, you would have a bespoke holy government.

Like a bespoke “Savile Row” suit, individually fitted and made from fine wool and linen from the islands of Britain and Ireland, I would have given you a government from Heaven, handcrafted by Me.

A government that serves you faithfully from its servant heart for Me. You would be godly and quietly governed.

This has been My desire for you. I want to pour out my blessings on you but even as you call to Me, you are not listening.

It is not too late.

There is still time to repent and come to Me but you must come swiftly.

You have a choice.

Turn to Me, pray as I direct, vote with Heaven and receive My choicest gifts.

Or you can stay in the endless cycle of voting for your stopgap human solutions and being disappointed and surprised every time they turn out not to be Jesus.

Beware what you pray for — you may just receive it!”

Prayer

LORD, we come to You today humbly repenting for so often seeking worldly means of rescue when You are so gracious and willing to give us Your Heavenly solutions.

We are sorry for expecting ordinary people to be Jesus and turning on them when they disappoint us instead of praying for all in authority as you tell us to in Your word.

Please forgive us.

Spare Your people, LORD, and do not make Your inheritance a disgrace.

Show us Your will and Your ways, LORD.

Please uncap the ancient wells and dig new wells in our nations.

End the hatred, division and fear; turn our hearts towards you; help us delight in The Fear of The LORD and live in perfect fellowship with You and each other.

We ask you to raise up leaders and governments that are Spirit-filled, Word-loving and God-fearing.

We ask you to bless them with Your strength, integrity and wisdom so they walk blamelessly, humbly and uprightly before You.

Give us the holy governments and leadership that only You can.

Bless our existing governments and authorities. Let us be godly and quietly governed.

We ask You to bless our nations with Your presence and surround us with Your peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“Make Do and Mend” — is a phrase popularised by a British government campaign encouraging people to reduce consumption of clothing and resources during the Second World War.

“Seats” — In the House of Commons in the UK, the seats are benches arranged in rows so the party of the government in power sit on one side and the main opposition party sit facing them.

“Savile Row” — is a street in the Mayfair area of central London famous for traditional bespoke (made to order and individually fitted) tailoring and shirtmaking. The UK and Ireland are known for producing high-quality wool and linen fabric often used by those businesses.
