Just Do It!
Just Do It
The disciples didn’t have a great education.
They didn’t have much book learning.
Yet they managed to stand their world on its head and they were the first pioneer missionaries.
They didn’t go to Bible college, nor did they even consider the finer points of theology or doctrine.
They just obeyed the great Commission to GO !
Now there’s great value in education, great value in theology and doctrine, and there’s great value sometimes in just GOING and DOING!
And just sometimes the greater return comes from the doing.
Just sayin’.
Just Do It — a different view
I’ve used this well known advertising slogan before, but today The LORD is giving me a whole new slant on what I wrote previously!
This is about how God doesn’t call the qualified, rather, He qualifies the called!
Take the disciples, for example.
They didn’t have a great education.
They didn’t have much book learning.
Yet they managed to stand their world on its head and they were the first pioneer missionaries.
They didn’t go to Bible college, nor did they even consider the finer points of theology or doctrine.
They just obeyed the great Commission to GO — even before it was written!
Now there’s great value in education, great value in theology and doctrine, and yet there’s great value sometimes in just GOING and DOING!
Hudson Taylor — I wonder how his broad Barnsley accent was received in China?
He had no formal training before he volunteered to go to China, but according to Wiki, the mission sent him to medical school to equip him before he went.
Smith Wigglesworth – a plumber with another broad Yorkshire accent, had no higher education at all, but God used him so mightily all around the world! He just obeyed the call to GO!
Look at the impact these two had on the world because the answered the call to GO. There are many others like them.
God doesn’t call the qualified, rather, He qualifies the called!
And just sometimes the greater return comes from simply answering the call to GO and to DO.
~ Chris G. Bennett
Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.

YES, YES, YES my brother, Chris. It is so so true “God doesn’t call the qualified, rather, He qualifies the called!” and Hudson Taylor and Smith Wigglesworth set the bar high for us to JUST DO IT. In His Love, Sandi
Hi Chris, Your spot on, Jackie Pullinger and Gladis Aylwood are two more. The missionary society rejected Gladis, but she went anyway. They both went and they didn’t have a lot of money, they just took a step of faith and did it. Taking that step of faith is hard because the enemy doesn’t want you to follow your calling. But just do it and the Lord will help you take one step after the other to reach your destination. Push through fear, which is the oldest weapon he uses to stop you, and trust God. If he wants you to go he’ll provide for you and keep you safe to accomplish what he’s called you to do.
Best Wishes
Jose
