Jesus revealed to me that He is working with us to be well rounded in EVERY area of our lives.

For example, if you are really quiet around people, He wants you to talk more. If you talk all the time around people, He wants you to talk less.

God wants to create a balance in us.

As an example — God is both quiet and loud.

Sometimes He has a lot to say and we see that in Scripture when page after page is filled with red letters.  Other times you ask Him questions and He is silent.

God has balance and He wants that for us.

We cannot say, “We’ll I am an introvert” or “I am an extrovert.”  That mindset may show an unwillingness to change and become balanced like the character of Jesus.

Rolando, a friend of mine, smiles and says hello to everyone any place we go.  We were walking by construction workers and he greeted them and said, “Hope you all have a good day!”

I asked Rolando why he is always so friendly and he replied that is not his personality as he prefers to be quiet and alone, but he does that to expand himself — to develop his character.

This is what Jesus is looking for!  That we are not one sided.  That we grow in every area of our lives and to be balanced.

The Holy Spirit says:  “I have wanted this for a long time, that My People will come to Me and ask to be ‘expanded’ — to partner with Me as I help them to grow. 

Be like Me.  I AM not one dimensional.  I AM vast — much greater than you can think.

I will grow you so you can be well-rounded, like Me!”
