As I have been Praying about this Season of increased Warfare and new levels of Contending, I asked The LORD what the Warfare Strategy for the hour was.

This is what I heard Him say,  “I call you to stand as Shammah stood, to plant your feet in the midst of the field, to dig your heels into the ground and refuse to yield your Covenant Inheritance!  (2 Samuel 23:12)

For I say,  this is not an hour to bind and loose, nor is it an hour to abandon the field in order to pursue the enemy — but this is an hour to stand, to dig your heels deep into Covenant Ground and to stake your claim by The Blood!

For even as the Philistines returned to contest the very territory where David had stood against Goliath and won a great Victory, so now the enemy returns to old Battlefields, seeking to reclaim territory that has already been won, and to rob a Generation of an Inheritance purchased, preserved and sealed in Blood!

But I say, do not yield the field!

Do not Surrender through weariness what was won through Warfare, and do not relinquish through fear what has been established through Covenant!

Watch!  For the Strategy of the hour is not to run after that which seeks to draw you from your assigned place, but to stand in the midst of the ground I have given you, to drive your heels deep into the soil of your rightful Covenant Inheritance, and to enforce through Faith what My Blood has already legally secured!

I say again — Stand!

Plead The Blood!  Proclaim the Covenant!  Defend the Inheritance, and refuse to yield the ground!”

As I heard those Words from 2 Samuel 23:11–12…

”…. there was a piece of ground full of lentils … and the people fled from the Philistines, ….. but he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it…and The LORD wrought a great Victory,”!   2 Samuel 23:11–12.

Shammah stood in the midst of a lentil field — and it was a field full of lentils!

Yet when the Philistines came to take possession of it, the Prophet Shammah refused to yield the ground!

While others fled in fear, Shammah stood.  He did not engage with the enemy — he enforced the Power of Covenant.

As I read and listened to the Spirit of Revelation, suddenly I saw a powerful Prophetic Parallel for the hour as we move into the New Hebrew Year.

In 1 Samuel 17, the Philistines gathered at a place Called Ephes-Dammim — the same territory where David confronted Goliath, and we all know the story

Again we see the Armies of Israel were afraid and fled, but David did not.

Then later in 1 Chronicles 11:13–14 we read about David’s Mighty Men who were found at a place then called Pas-Dammim.  It was the same named territory associated with Ephes-Dammim, and we see how the Philistines had returned!

The enemy had come back to contest the ground of a former Victory — David vs Goliath!

Then The Holy Spirit gave me a greater understanding of the Strategy for the Hour, saying that what David had won, David’s Mighty Men would now have to defend, years later, when the enemy returned!

So, a powerful Prophetic Pattern emerges.  David stood when others fled, and now the Prophet Shammah — one of David’s Mighty Men — would now stand when others would have fled.

What had been demonstrated and established in the life of David was now being reproduced in his Mighty Men.

Now I hear these Words saying, “Watch the old Battlefields, for the return of the enemy does not mean that the former Victory has been nullified!

The return of the enemy means that the ground of a former great Victory must now be enforced and defended!”

Then I saw in this Hour, the enemy returning to old Battlefields — places where great Victories have been fought and Won.  The enemy, contesting for Generational Ground, contesting for Family Inheritance and Kingdom Territory!

The enemy is rising to contest places where Giants have already fallen…

Now I hear a Clarion Call,  “Do not retreat or shrink back in fear when the enemy seeks to contest the Victory!

Do not abandon the field of your rightful Inheritance, because the Philistines have returned!”

Listen, for there are things that one Generation wins through Warfare, that another Generation must now learn to defend through the Power and Authority of the New Covenant!

There are Altars that must not be abandoned — and Wells that must not be surrendered!

And there are Boundaries and Borders that have been allotted to us as our rightful Kingdom Inheritance that must not be Moved.

The Ecclesia Must Rise Up and Take Their Stand as Shammah!

Our Generational Inheritances must not be forfeited!

The fields of Great Harvest must not be handed back to the enemy!

And I hear these Words,   “Do not despise your lentil field.

Do not call small, menial or insignificant what God has called Birthright and Kingdom Inheritance!

Do not abandon the field as part of your allotted Inheritance — because the Battle surrounding it has suddenly intensified.

For the value of the field is not determined by what grows upon it — but by Whose Ground it belongs to!

Ephesians 6:13 is quickened to me,  ”And having done all, to stand…” … ”Stand therefore”…!

There are Seasons when God has clearly instructed me to “Pursue… to Overtake and Recover all …”

But I Submit as we move into a New Level of Contesting, there is a powerful Prophetic Strategy in standing and holding the line; in becoming enforcers of the Power of the New Covenant!

God is saying,  ”Stand! … and do not move from the ground I have given you!”

And then I saw something even deeper…

The name ”Dammim” [אֶפֶס דַּמִּים] is connected with the Hebrew word Dam, which means ”Blood”…

We are Kingdom Enforcers that are being Called upon in this Hour of intensified Warfare; to Decree the Power of The Blood over the Boundary Lines, the Ground and the Generational Inheritance of our families, finances, health, ministries, cities, towns and Nations!

This Warfare, is not based upon human strength!  It is Warfare anchored in the finished Work of The Cross…!!

The Blood of Jesus is Speaking — ”the Blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things”..!  (Hebrews 12:24-26)

”And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony,”   Revelation 12:11.

And I hear The Spirit say,  “My Governing Ecclesia, My Ruling Remnant, must know the Covenant Ground upon which they stand.

They must know the Power of the New Covenant that speaks over that ground, and they must know the Power of The Blood that has secured their Birthright and rightful Inheritance.

For this is not an hour to be driven back from the field of great Victory and Reward by the spirit of fear, intimidation, weariness or by the sound of the Philistine (Palestine) Spirit that is returning and rising in the Earth seeking to make an unlawful claim.

I say, this is an hour to dig your heels deep into Covenant Ground like sharpened Tent Pegs driven through the head of Leviathan that rises on the threshold of a New Season!”

So Friends, I want to encourage those of you who may find yourselves standing again upon an old Battlefield — or even facing a new one!

Do not assume that because the Battle has returned, because the Warfare has intensified, or because what stands before you looks impossible to overcome, that somehow you have lost the Victory!

Absolutely not!

The intensity of the Battle is a sign — it is a clear indication — that the ground carries great value, immeasurable value for Kingdom Advancement and Occupation.

Since when does Satan waste resources without a specific purpose?  He seeks to occupy, to steal, to dispossess, and to cause us to abandon our Inheritance through assignments of great discouragement, disappointments and weariness.  He only returns to contest what we would never willingly surrender!

The Philistines returned — because they wanted the ground!

But their return did not cancel the former Victory, it only required someone to stand and defend what had already been won

I believe in this Hour of the Battle of Altar vs altar, of Covenant vs covenant, Heaven is looking for a Generation of Mighty Men and Women who will arise to stand and defend the Fields of our Kingdom Inheritance — the Fields of Harvest!

A Fearless Righteous Generation like David’s Mighty Men, a Prophetic Company of Shammahs, who will stand when others flee; who will refuse to be moved by the size of the enemy, the intensity of the Warfare, or the length and ferocity of the Battle.

A Prophetic Remnant, who truly understand that the field is worth fighting for, because the field carries the future Harvest!

A Radical Remnant , who will dig their heels deep into Covenant Ground like sharpened Tent Pegs and Declare:  “We will not abandon the field!  We will not surrender our Kingdom Inheritance and Birthright!  We will not yield the ground to the enemy!”

I hear these Words,  ”The ferocity of the Battle that is unfolding reveals the value of the ground that the thief of Generational Destinies desperately wants back!”

Satan is after the Harvest that the field carries.  He is after the Generational Inheritance that has been fought for, Prayed for, Contended for, and Preserved through the Power of Covenant.

I hear the Sound of a Battle Cry rising:  “We will not yield or give back to the enemy what The Blood of the New Covenant has legally secured!”

In this Hour of Divine Transition and Reformation, we will stand at The Altar as Divine Legislators to enforce and execute the Power of Covenant, and having done all, we shall stand!

And, may it be written again concerning The Remnant in this hour, ”And The LORD wrought a great Victory!”   (2 Samuel 23:10)
