Abiding in His Presence
Jesus is raising up strong Leaders, who are firmly established in their personal relationship with Him.
Those who are humble, have integrity and unwavering obedience. Those are the ones who will transform and shake the nations with the glory of God.
The Holy Spirit gave me this Word today for those of you who have known The LORD for some time, but have become complacent in your relationship with Jesus.
If you reflect on the past 2-5 years, you will notice a lack of growth in your spiritual life.
Your relationship with The LORD may feel stagnant and unfruitful because you lost your original vision and purpose.
Some of you may be going through the motions, and everything that you do and say seems to be repetitive and routine.
It’s time to stop circling the same mountain. You can’t keep doing the same thing repeatedly and expect different results”.
One reason for this disconnection is because you neglected your prayer life and have not been spending time reading the Word of God.
You lost your passion for spiritual things and you are no longer pursuing encounters with God.
We can’t rely on others to keep us spiritually pumped up. King David understood this, he stirred himself up in The LORD and was victorious in every battle.
In the book of Leviticus, and throughout the Old Testament, God sent Fire down to consume the offerings on the altar.
Although the Fire was ignited by God Himself, the priests had to continually maintain it to keep it from ever dying out.
This required a regular removal of the ashes and anything which would hinder the fire from burning.
Jesus wants to spark the Fire in you once again, removing whatever is smothering it!
Some of you need to get filled with The Holy Spirit. If you go into a foreign country such as Italy, you have to know the language to communicate with the people.
It is the same with the supernatural realm. You can’t access heaven without speaking the language of heaven which is tongues.
It’s not about religious rituals, but it’s the tangible Fire of God that transforms your life. When you are filled with The Holy Spirit you will never be the same.
You have to return to that place where The LORD provides manna daily. The manna that we ate yesterday is stale and it is not adequate for today.
The revelation that we received yesterday will not be sufficient in this season. Our level of maturity in Christ must continually go to the next level.
We also have to be careful what we hear and surround ourselves with faith filled believers.
There is a story in the bible about two sisters named Mary and Martha. They were the sisters of Lazarus who was raised from the dead.
Martha opened her home to Jesus one day, and as He was sitting down speaking, Mary sat at His feet and intently listened to all that He had to say. Martha was distracted by all the preparations and she said to Jesus:
“LORD, don’t you care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me!” Luke 10:40.
Jesus replied:
“Martha, Martha! You are worried and troubled about many things but one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41.
They were both in Jesus’ presence and heard the same message, but Mary was intently listening to His voice and Martha was caught up with the cares of this world.
In the natural, it is important to take care of things in our personal lives, but when we are spending time with Jesus, we need to pay attention to Him.
Some of you spend too much time on social media. You fill your mind with meaningless noise. Jesus wants to reveal the secrets of the kingdom of darkness to you and expose their strategies.
It’s time to rise up and shake off the spiritual lethargy. The LORD is calling us to pay attention to His voice.
He will give us strategies on what is happening in the natural and what we need to pray for.
Jude said in the book of Jude, to build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Spirit.
He wants to release wisdom, discernment and understanding for the days ahead. It is time for a new game plan for your life.
It is time to hear from heaven. Jesus is inviting us to sit as His feet and hear what He has to say.
“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God,” Romans 8:26-27.
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,” Ephesians 6:18.
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life,” Jude 1:20-21.
Blessings in Christ Jesus,
