“A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.” Proverbs 21:22 KJV.

When The Bible says Wisdom is the principal thing, it’s the acknowledgement of Wisdom as the foundation of everything.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7.

In priorities, Wisdom should be your most essential pursuit! Go for it even if it cost everything in this world. Prioritize obtaining understanding to guide life’s choices.

But Wisdom is not just in Godly choices — Wisdom is a weapon for battle!

There is ongoing competition between the children of the world and sons of God.

The children of this world are in their generation and ways wiser than the children of light.

This is to say they are exhibiting qualities and ideas of the dark world, that the children of the light are reluctant to confront and change. This gives a position of superiority.

It is not about being like them. The paradox is, what we possess as knowledge of Christ, is not being used to dominate the world!

In the eyes of the children of this world — we are lesser.

But our source never betrayed us!

We are created from the very Wisdom of God — Christ being the mystery and the Wisdom of God.

As Proverbs states, a wise man will scale down the walls of the mighty and cast their strength down. (Proverbs 21:22)

This is application of Wisdom in Battle. A wise man will use the most unlikely means to bring down the enemy.

There are some battles which Wisdom doesn’t confront head on.

We are called to undo the most difficult issues by “scaling the walls“. This is figurative demonstration of Wisdom in matters that appear impossible to solve.

Don’t be frightened by the walls of the mighty, but apply “the scaling tactic” and get to the spoils — that is wisdom!

“Scaling the walls” is in the ideas God has given you.

The fruits of The Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) are weapons of war.

The enemy wants you to reveal your power — but reveal your Wisdom!
