Advent December 12, 2020.
Spiritual guidance is heard like soft music in the night by those who have learned to be still and listen.
It will not shout nor condescend, but instead, it will beckon and woo the heart to search for simpler paths, the kindhearted life of humility, and less self-opinionated sourness.
It seeks out peace, making way for new beginnings and the removal of the cynical filters of mistrust, dismissing attitudes and cold love.
When a heart is open to the whispers of “The Counselor”, life becomes a sweet gift as each day unfolds itself like a blooming flower, from bud to full mature glory, peeling away the layers of hiding, hurting, helplessness and the hoarding of secrets.
Light comes into dark places whether invited or not. It either exposes or… illuminates hearts.
The Voice Of truth will not be mocked or twisted. He will allow time for a heart to hear and obey, but will not permit passive resistance to change when He is speaking of new directions and desires to straighten out crooked paths.
…Follow the Light of Christ, prodding you to obey and fall upon the rock. Broken and honest people are His Favored ones.
“The way you counsel and correct me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next,” Psalm 16:7 TPT.
“For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, ‘You are God’s beloved child!'” Romans 8:16 TPT.
