Are You Known by Him?
This morning I was led to Matthew 7:22–23.
“Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you!….””
What suddenly hit me this morning was the Word, ”Knew”!
This response from Jesus was an acknowledgment of powerful works — but the Intimacy of Relationship, He denied!
Jesus didn’t say, ”I never saw your works” or “you didn’t do miracles”…..
But He said, ”I never knew you!”
Going a little deeper I saw that word “Knew” wasn’t about whether Jesus lacked an awareness or an acknowledgment of activity — but it was about Intimacy!
That Word “Knew” speaks to Covenant, a Shared Life, a Deeper Intimate Relationship….
Adam “Knew” Eve — and she Conceived! (Genesis 4:1)
It is the kind of “Knowing” that is born out of deep Intimacy with the Father in the Secret place of His Presence — a Holy and Sacred Communion with The Spirit of God that cannot be manufactured, or imitated or fabricated.
This “Knowing and being known” is not something we can learn through proximity to power or from people or being connected to a Ministry and it’s certainly not mastered through Religious repetition or Tradition.
Just One Intimate moment in the Presence of The King carries enough power and weight to Change and Transform a life forever
This “Knowing” goes beyond walking closely with Him or Co-laboring near Him, its about our entire being, fully yielded, surrendered and saturated in the Presence of The LORD wherein the Soul is Marked and Sealed, where the Heart is Undone, and where Life as we know it is permanently changed by Encountering God Himself.
But the uncomfortable Truth is this — a person can Preach and Teach powerfully — Cast out demons — Prophesy accurately — Perform Signs and Wonders — and YET still be “Unknown” to Christ! Very sobering!
It’s vital in this hour of greater Shakings, to understand that Spiritual Gifts are not proofs of Intimacy!
Authority is not the same as Covenant Relationship, that carries true Power and Favour from God!
I think it’s clear and evident to see that Public Fruit does not guarantee — nor does it necessarily reflect — that there is Private and full Surrender to The Holy Spirit.
I saw with fresh eyes this morning, that in Matthew 7, Jesus doesn’t deny the Activity or the manifestations of Miracles and Signs.
He denies the Connection as Counterfeit — a mere masquerading of Intimacy.
Many will do Mighty Works in His Name — but without ever truly being Known by Him!
And what makes this even more sobering, is that we see that Jesus doesn’t say, “I knew you once” He says, “I NEVER Knew you!”
The Relationship many will assume existed on that day — NEVER actually did….!
True and Intimate Communion was replaced by Performance and Empty Worship and true Devotion to The LORD was nothing more than duty!
Heaven was not impressed. and not even the Angels recognised their marvelous works
We can DO for God — and yet if our hearts remain distant from Him, everything is counted for nothing!
True Intimacy, ”to Know HIM” will cost us more than any type of Ministry ever will.
It will cost us Sacred Time alone when no one is watching or applauding our efforts and actions….
This is one thing — the only thing Jesus is truly after — Intimacy!
Jesus is not Returning for Superstar Servants! He is Returning for those who have Returned to their First Love, .for a Marked People, who KNOW Him and are KNOWN by Him.

I have been a Christian a long time and this January 1 He has lead me to go deeper, time in His presence, daily, at my dining room table, Bible, journal and pen… I follow your prophecies for many years now and I appreciate this sobering truth and humble myself before Him. I have said I can do nothing without Jesus, step by step literally and with Holy Spirit and Father God’s plan, purpose, will be done. Especially in my nursing/caring for my husband and through his passing in our living room in November,2018. In widowhood, I am not alone for I am His. My family is all out of state but He has blessed me greatly with a church family, good neighbors who are friends. We must stay aware and continually communicate with Jesus, be still to hear Holy Spirit and know it is indeed ALL Jesus. Thank you✝️♥️
Some people who pride themselves in casting out demons..they look nothing like Jesus! People who call themselves seers and whatnot. They were some of the creepiest people I met .
