Birthed into Dysfunctional Families or Relationships
I am Praying for those of us who have been birthed into dysfunctional families and who were in toxic intimate relationships and are now manifesting the spiritual and physical ramifications of those traumatic experiences.
When the soul is wounded (hurt, disappointed, embarrassed, anxious, ) we’re open to demonic attacks and infiltration — because we’re no longer fortified.
Demons or negative spiritual influences can enter a person through trauma by exploiting emotional, psychological, and spiritual vulnerabilities.
1 Thessalonians 5 states,
“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
This suggests that we (human) are tri-part in nature meaning we consist of SPIRIT (inner most part that communicates with God), SOUL (Mind, Will, and Emotions), and the Body (Physical Vessel).
With that being said , the soul is where demons desire to seat themselves, and dominate because the soul is where we experience emotions like love, fear, joy, and sadness.
It is also where our free will operates, choosing between right and wrong, good and evil — and here is where demons desire to inoculate and dominate.
Trauma, especially severe emotional pain, abuse, neglect, or betrayal, can weaken a person’s inner defenses.
Fear, anger, resentment, and despair can create openings for those negative influences and entities leading to intrusive thoughts, oppression, or a sense of darkness.
Many sicknesses and infirmities are caused by soul wounds, past traumas, toxic connections because even being around certain individuals or having some negative experiences can actually raise cortisol levels in the body and give you blood pressure problems, acne, diabetes, cause you to be depressed and have mood swings etc and it is The Father’s Will that we be HEALED and WHOLE physically and spiritually.
Healing is part of God’s covenant with His people. He revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha, “The LORD Who heals…..”
“….. I AM The LORD that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26c.
