Bring About Justice!
“And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8 (NLT).
Dear Ones: Bring about Justice!
In this chapter, The Master is telling the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge.
She finally prevails to get justice by her persistence to keep bringing her claim to the judge.
Then The Master makes the personal connection to how The Father treats their prayers and cries for justice.
He asks, “Will The Father close His ears or delay justice?” The answer is NO!
The Father’s Throne is founded on Righteousness and Justice.
He always judges rightly and responds to the cries of those who seek redress from the attacks of the evil one and his minions.
These verses end with another question. Will the Master find people of faith when He comes?
Faith to believe and persevere even when it seems that relief is not coming or delayed.
Will He find trusting souls who understand the magnificence and completeness of His work on the Cross?
We have to consider these questions for ourselves and respond to Him from the depth of our souls.
We must believe that He is able to bring about justice for us in these troubled times.
Declaration
Declare:
“LORD, I believe You will bring about justice for me, my family, and my nation as I prevail in prayer about the issues that concern me.
My persistence is an expression of my faith in Your ability to deliver me from evil people and their actions.
I desire to walk worthy of You knowing my Faith in You is evidence of my dependence upon You.
Thank You for Your righteous judgment on my behalf.
Praise The LORD!”
Have a blessed and overcoming day in Jesus’ name.
