Do Not Fear! (Updated)

Preface
I believe this week will see tumultuous changes wrought by the efforts of President Trump and his team to ‘rescue’ America and with it much of the world as we know it!
This then is an update of a prophetic word, itself updated, from 2021 & 23 with the emphasis on the words from Jeremiah – “uproot, tear down, build, and plant!”
Do Not Fear!
August 19, 2023.
How many times have I quoted Jeremiah 1:9, where God tells Jeremiah that he is anointed to uproot and Tear Down; also to Build and Plant?
“Then The LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and The LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My Words in your mouth.”” Jeremiah 1:9
A rhetorical question as I have no idea either, I just know I have quoted that passage a few times.
Tonight, when watching a prophetic offering on our computer, the verse was quoted once again. Yet this time, I felt The Holy Spirit’s wake-up nudge for me to pay attention.
By the Spirit, I heard again these four Words — Uproot; Tear Down; Build; Plant — but this time I knew that He was referring to something coming soon to The Church as a whole!
Like many prophets, I believe the awakening — the shaking of both the world and The Church — is about to intensify.
What we have seen and heard so far is like ‘a storm in a teacup’ compared to that which The LORD is about to do.
The coming shaking will actually divide The Church, “wheat and tares,” or “sheep and goats,” The Bible calls it.
The existing Church is about to be exposed as the Laodicean Church of Revelation. (Revelation 3:14-21)
Thousands will have their complacency torn down, (shaken), and the remnant seed will be sown, planted, and built.
Perhaps rebuilt would be a better term. There will be great eye-opening and repentance.
‘Religion’ will be replaced by Faith!
Church as it has been, will be abandoned in favour of an ‘Acts 2’ church, full of love, authority, power, signs and wonders! Thus the Remnant Church will grow.
At the same time, those left behind by the shaking, those clinging to the old way, will be lost to the Remnant Church and will continue to pursue religion not relationship.
This will cause great stress, angst, and fear, as well as giving rise to a religious persecution not seen in the Western Church for decades — perhaps centuries.
Amid the clamour and clatter of this, I hear The LORD once again say, “Do not fear!”
He reminds me of Joshua 1:9,
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for The LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
The Holy Spirit will be with us all the way. The shaking will be painful, but God’s Hand is on us, His Word is in our mouths, His protecting Angel’s surround us.
I am reminded of 2 Kings 6:8-25, the story of Elisha at Dothan.
“He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.”
So The LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:16-17
So it shall be in the coming shaking — we are surrounded by God’s Angels and ‘there are more with us or for us than there are against us!’ (2 Kings 6:16)
Yes there is a great revealing, a great awakening, a great division coming; but we, the Remnant Church and those yet to join her, will be safe under the protection of The LORD God Almighty.
The words “Do not fear” appear 365 times in The Bible. Never have they been a more appropriate message for the church as now.
Fear not, press on, hang on — God has got this!
Pray at all times. Trust in The LORD!

Amen! Powerful word, Chris
Well said! I’m with you on that, Jeremiah 1:9 is coming soon to the Church. Yes, repentance at the feet of Jesus will definitely make way for Acts 2.
We shouldn’t fear when the enemy comes near, for at the door post of our lives, is the blood of Jesus Christ. Hope Darst sings such a song which the Holy Spirit gave me for NOW, when I asked for strategy, that could help many of us.
Blessings peace and love to you and yours dear Chris.
Excellent word!
It’s interesting that there are 365 times that the words “Do not fear” appear in the Bible as you mentioned ….one for each day of the year!
Rich Residue of the Remnant.
