Dress Rehearsal?
As ever, I’m in my armchair having just got a mug of coffee when suddenly I’m dozing and in an open Vision.

I’m in an old city — old half wooden beams, half brick or stone houses; narrow cobbled streets; deserted!
Why deserted?
My attention is drawn to the noise of crowds cheering, joyful, celebrating.
I chase through the streets until I burst out into a huge open square, rimmed on three sides by large important looking houses, wide streets passing through on all four sides.
People everywhere, excited, cheering. I push through until I can see more.
First thing I see is many white horses ridden by men in uniform — colourful uniforms with flags and bunting everywhere around them.
The horses seem to be prancing impatiently, as if expecting a command. The riders quietly restraining his horse — tugging reins or patting the horse gently, reassuringly.
I turn to a crowd Marshall. Though he doesn’t have a label — I just know he’s a Marshall.
“What’s going on? Where are we? Why all the white horses?” The questions come tumbling out!
“Where? What? Are you the only one who hasn’t heard?”
He seemed amazed and confused.
Then as if realising, maybe recognising me, he answered, “This is the Triumphal Parade Ground in Heaven! We are assembled, waiting for The King!”
Suddenly, every person standing fell to one knee. Every horse and rider stilled with bowed heads.
A single trumpet sounded a beautiful fanfare and right on cue, a single magnificent white steed walked slowly into view, ridden by a rider I was unable to see.
The Marshall beside me grabbed me and pulled me down to kneel next to him. The lone white horse and rider walked gently over to where I was standing.
It was Jesus!
“Welcome to My town, Chris!”
“L-LORD”, I stammered — I was in shock, “Why am I here?”
“This is a Dress Rehearsal for the great day when I shall come for My Bride!” — and then as if answering my next question He said, “Oh yes, we have Rehearsals for important events! Especially when one like yourself is invited to watch!”
“Why me?” I managed to ask, almost dumbfounded by what I saw as the enormity of what He said.
“We, you and I, have been here before!” He laughed.
“Because I want you to tell My People that the Rehearsals are almost complete.
Everything is prepared — and I AM COMING SOON!”
There was an emphatic note in His voice and I realised that His ‘soon’ and my ‘soon’ were closer together than ever before.
With this still ringing in my ears, I found myself lifted high above the place we were talking. It was revealed to me that I could now see the host of our predecessors who were also waiting, anticipating this day.
A sea of shining faces looking up at Jesus on His white horse, all eagerly cheering Him and encouraging me to come back and tell you all.
So, once again, I tell you that Jesus is coming for His Bride very soon.
Why me? I don’t know. Perhaps because I will tell you when The LORD asks me to!
Just at this moment, I’m back in my chair and Linda walks in having been busy elsewhere.
My coffee is now cold — another new mug?
Don’t forget — Jesus is coming for His Bride very soon.
In child-like faith and a reverential Fear of The LORD.

Chris, your message from Jesus is received by me. I would like to compliment you on the way your write – it’s like a story form with funny quips. Thank you for being God’s servant and willing to share everything He gives you. JRW
Thank you Julie,
I claim nothing for myself when I write! I’ve said many times that I simply take dictation from Holy Spirit. He knows my language, my humour, my ‘style’ far better than I do. So the Lord gets all the glory.
Chris, So Beautiful an experience! Why you? You have a beautiful spirit.
Blessings.
Thank you Jennifer. To God be all the glory!
Chris what a beautiful and encouraging word from our King Jesus Christ, Father and Holy Spirit. I am very excited about His return. I do have a prayer request for all of my family to come in before it is too late. Also for all souls that need salvation in these very dark days. I was praying this morning: Lord please do not let anyone left befind, we all need you.Blessings to you and family!!!
God bless you too, MF, and all the others who have kindly responded.
Lord, grant this family’s salvation. May they all come to that place of redemption at your feet. May Holy Spirit so impact them as to break any generational curses over them and bring them into communion with you!
In Jesus name
Amen
I LOVVVVVVE the word Chris
Don’t ya love how Jesus surprises us.
A story came to mind from an older gentleman Jesse who has a vintage motorcycle and likes to ride it still. So Jesus showed up and got on the back of his motorcycle and said, “Let’s go to Burger King.” Jesse said that liked a different burger joint better, but Jesus in a funny way insisted. When they arrived, Jesse had an assignment, an encounter with someone there, and a great outcome ensued.
I love the way Jesus pulls us to where He wants us, Chris!
Great story/testimony – thanks
God bless you
I am so excited! I too cannot wait. Blessings
Amazing so encouraging thank you Lord and thankyou Chris for posting this
