From 1, ’26 (January 2026), it’s Psalm 126 Period: Put in The Sickle and Reap — Separated and Consecrated at The Psalm 26 Altar
Just as we use The Sword of The LORD (The Sword of The Spirit) for battle, so we also must use The Sickle of The LORD for reaping from the battle.
“When The LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:1-6 NKJV.
NB. The number 126 indicates fruit, fruitfulness, harvest. Indeed, when added up, 1+2+6 = 9.
In Scripture, nine (9) represents fruit, fruitfulness. For example, “The Fruit of The Spirit” is A Divine Composite of Nine (9) Components (Galatians 5:22).
The Sickle of The LORD easily reaps a ready harvest.
‘And I saw, and behold, A White Cloud, and on The Cloud [One] sitting like [a] Son of Man, having on His Head A Golden Garland, and in His Hand A Sharp Sickle; and another messenger came forth out of The Temple crying in a great voice to Him Who is sitting on The Cloud, “Send forth Your Sickle and reap, because the hour of reaping has come to You, because the harvest of the earth has been ripe”; and He Who is sitting on The Cloud put forth His Sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.” Revelation 14:14-16 LSV.
“Then I looked, and behold, A White Cloud, and on The Cloud sat One like The Son of Man, having on His Head A Golden Crown, and in His Hand A Sharp Sickle. And another angel came out of The Temple, crying with a loud voice to Him Who sat on The Cloud, “Thrust in Your Sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He Who sat on The Cloud thrust in His Sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.” Revelation 14:14-16 NKJV.
When a crop is ripe, the farmer must harvest it to benefit him — to benefit from his labour.
When food is ready on the table, one must put it in his mouth and get it into the stomach to benefit him.
The necessary action must necessarily be taken for one to get what has been made ready for one to obtain.
Elijah had to still ask and speak with The Utterance of The Holy Spirit persistently before the widow did for him what The LORD Jesus said He had already commanded her to do for him, (1 Kings 17:9).
Similarly, The LORD later said to Elijah: “Go, present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth.” (1 Kings 18:1).
But Elijah had to first act according to The Word of The LORD, and PRAYED at The Altar so FERVENTLY, and The LORD sent Fire — manifesting Himself as “A Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29), and then CONTENDED persistently in prayer before The LORD sent the rain He had promised him.
To put in The Sickle and reap the Psalm 126 harvest, you must first be separated and consecrated unto The Psalm 26 Altar and pray there like Elijah — prayer led by The Holy Spirit.
(Please see my previous Word “Understand Altars, Overcome At The Altar“)
Likewise, before He ascended to Heaven, The LORD Jesus had said to His disciples:
“And behold, I send The Promise of My Father on you, but you — abide in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with Power from On High.” Luke 24:49 LSV.
When they obeyed, yes, when they acted as instructed by The LORD, He indeed sent The Promise of The Father (The Holy Spirit) most dramatically on The Day of Pentecost.
Until the child of God does what He says, he cannot have what He has promised him.
How do you put forth The Sickle and reap?
Mary the mother of Jesus put it best: “Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5).
She knew all too well that Jesus had the solution.
Not matter the problem Jesus always has the solution.
And guess what?
When they needed the wine at the wedding, Jesus didn’t give them money to go to the wine shop to get more bottles of wine. No.
Rather, He instructed them to fill six stone water-pots there with water!
How RIDICULOUS, JESUS?!
No, it isn’t, O man. For “the natural man does not receive The Things of The Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know [them], because they are discerned spiritually” (1 Corinthians 2:14 LSV).
A lot of the time, What God requires/ instructs us to do to get His Promises, demands sharp spiritual discernment and prompt obedience.
For example, as noted above, wine was urgently needed at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, but ‘Jesus said to them, “Fill the water-pots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.‘ (John 2:7).
When they obeyed The LORD, they got what they needed: He turned the water into wine for them instantly.
It is worthy of note greatly that they filled the water-pots “to the brim.” They obeyed fully.
Half obedience/ some obedience/ compromised obedience is still disobedience.
Whatever Jesus says to you, you must do it fully — no matter how senseless it might sound. His Ways are far higher than human ways.
As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are His Ways above our ways, and His Thoughts above our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9).
Therefore, whether It makes sense or not, we must only do What The LORD says to do — where, when and how He says to do It.
This is the only way by which the child of God can TRULY prosper and have good success.
Success by worldly ways is bad success; it has sorrow with it.
But “The Blessing of The LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with It.” (Proverbs 10:22).
“This Book of The Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in It day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in It. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8.
As He warned Moses when he was about to make The Tabernacle, so we must always be minded to do: “See that you make all things according to The Pattern shown you on The Mountain.” (Acts 8:5).
Our part is to do His Pattern shown us — in all things, at all times.
Furthermore, who can reap more than The LORD of The Harvest?
Ask The LORD Jesus to let His angels assist you in reaping (Luke 10:2; Matthew 13:39).
Ask “The Helper, The Holy Spirit” (John 14:26) to help you reap your harvest.
Put forth His Sickle and reap NOW!
Send forth (pray) The LORD’s Sickle and reap now, because the hour of reaping has come to you.
Send forth The LORD’s Sickle and reap (by decreeing and declaring so, obeying What He says to you), because your harvest is ripe and ready.
Pray The LORD’s Sickle into the harvest He has for you, bringing your sheaves with you right this very set time.
The Psalm 126 Harvest has come.
“And He said, “The Kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” ” Mark 4:26-29.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Addison Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
