Genesis — Take Your Seat!
“These signs will follow those who believe . . .” Mark 16:17.
Once in harmony with YAH, you are given a seat [high place] where if any root of iniquity is found — it’s dealt with until it no longer exists.
Take a look at this verse in the Book of Judges.
“They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera [evil commander].” Judges 5:20 KJ2000.
Our seat within the Spirit is one of the key things we need to understand in our journey with Christ.
Again, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says The LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).
And the next words are just as exciting:“
“Who are you, O great mountain? . . . you shall become a plain” Zechariah 4:7.
YAH wants to give us our seats, but we must fight to take out the garbage or we will never find our seat within His Mountain.
We must allow the presence of Holy Spirit to deal with the garbage in our lives.
“You are the only [alone are the] LORD. You made the heavens [sky], even the highest [heavens of the] heavens, with all the stars [their hosts]. You made the earth and everything on it, the seas and everything in them; You give life to everything. The heavenly army [host] worships you.” Nehemiah 9:6 EXB.
It’s a lot to take in so lets start at the very beginning — His grand story of Creation in Genesis — God’s autobiography.
It’s a story of His mystery to turn nothing into something tangible, extraordinary and unlimited!
When God created the heavens and the earth… Genesis 1:1.
In fact, YAH is in action from the very first verse: “In the beginning God created”, and all the way through the Bible He is seen to be pressing onward in purpose and in revealing Himself in His Word.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
“The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:1-5.
God wanted us to know to what lengths he went to bring all that we see and all that we are into being.
He formed the heavens, the earth, and all that they contain to demonstrate His extravagance, wisdom, creativity, and generosity.
The Word of God has to govern everything if the purpose of God is to be fulfilled and completed.
We are given clues of how big you and I are in the spirit along the way. For instance, Jeremiah’s is given a view point that allows him to see what God sees before He began shaping things, just to emphasize that everything existing soon afterwards — light, land, life — comes solely from YAH.
“I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was waste and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved to and fro. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful field was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of The LORD, and before his fierce anger. For thus saith The LORD, The whole land shall be a desolation; yet will I not make a full end” Jeremiah 4:23-27.
We will never be able to take the mystery out of creation of everything from nothing for His Greatness is incomprehensible.
“The earth was completely formless and empty with nothing but darkness draped over the deep.” Genesis 1:2.
I want to dwell here for a minute, when we open Genesis, we are confronted with a state that is formless but vast.
Everything about that condition is unending: there was not this, and there was not that.
It’s a new perspective and quite a shift in our thinking when we see how big you and I really are in Creation.
If we stand in the celestial skies as who we are in Christ and look out, our size seems so big.
But because of the way we have learned, we are only using an itty-bitty living space that has been hidden and not yet fully perceived by us. This must change to take our seat within the mountain.
If we position ourselves in the center within the image of who we are in the Father, scripture says He has “… measured heaven with a span” (Isaiah 40:12) and “… created man in His own image…” (Genesis 1:27). He holds us in the span of His hand.
“God formed Man out of dirt from the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life. The Man came alive — a living soul!” Genesis 2:5 MSG.
We take our size into perspective while in union with Christ and we begin to function out of union as maturing sons who bear His image and likeness as well as His Size.
To fully understand this… is to fully understand as Jeremiah did.
I am amazed at how big we are when we see ourselves from within YAH’s perspective.
YAH is so incredibly interested in us becoming who we are in Him.
I mean He is the great Almighty GOD and whenever God comes to His place, any place — there will be a change from a negative to a positive character, with meaningfulness to rule and take form.
“God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night…” Genesis 1:17–18 NKJV.
Take that as a great truth in your relationship with The LORD, in your apprehension of The LORD. These are the foundations of everything.
We know how every true child of God, who comes into this relationship with The LORD Yeshua, immediately assumes a new sense of positiveness in life.
While don’t forget we are told in Genesis, God formed a man from the dust of the ground, He breathed life into his nostrils and then planted man in the garden in the East.
“Then The LORD God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.” Genesis 2:15.
The place God originally intended for us to live is captured by the deceit of the enemy.
God knew Adam’s and Eve’s choices would prevent them from living as He intended, so as always He had a plan to restore us to the place of His Presence.
Did you hear me correctly? God, The Father had a plan!
Jesus is the Door to this celestial seat. . . Through His death on The Cross, Jesus bought the way for us to be made whole — the way to shalom, where nothing is missing, nothing is broken: the place where we live side by side seated with Him.
It’s perfectly designed by God!
The is the place God originally intended for you and I to live.
YAH has given us a mandate to possess all that He has made. He made it for one reason — for us to display His Glory.
Even though we have the capacity, we have still not grasped how big we really are.
We can stand in the middle of His Cosmos and orchestrate the galaxy spirals as they sing and worship the presence of YAH.
That is their one objective. Once we start going here, we will realize how much the adversary has kept hidden from us to make us look so small.
It’s time we understand who we are and what our destiny really is.
Many of us think our destiny is to try and live a life on earth in the hope that YAH will come and sky-bus us out of here.
Then we think there will be no more troubles in our lives ever again and that is about the full extent of their beliefs.
Listen, the Adversary [Satan] wants us to focus so hard on the little things that we do not see and become the big picture. Creation is waiting for us to come to occupy YAH’s design.
The first time I experienced my seat, I was standing within a mountain that was open on one side to the cosmos.
I felt a freedom like never before. I was in the middle of Creation and that is how big I was in proportion to where I was standing.
Does my description seem foreign to you?
Do you recall the words in the book of Job?
“The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life!” Job 33:4.
While God the Father was in heaven on the Throne of Glory saying,“Let us make man,” The Holy Spirit was doing His work on earth.
It’s the second verse in Creation that states “the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2).
And the psalmist, speaking of the creatures on earth, wrote,“You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and You renew the face of the earth” (Psalm 104:30).
Do you remember the story of the disciples who failed in their attempt to heal a small child?
It was while Yeshua was on the Mount of Transfiguration being glorified that he came down from the mountain (Matthew 17:15–16).
The disciples perspective was too small and they were not seated on the Mountain.
Yeshua came down from the Mountain where He was seated with YAH.
The LORD not only wants to remove Satan and his demons from your life — those things that are a barrier to your healing and deliverance and ability to see in the Spirit — but He wants to fill that empty void.
That’s why The LORD sent the Comforter!
He wants you to be filled completely with The Holy Spirit.
Right now, the Spirit is on earth. In fact He is waiting patiently for your invitation.
All it takes is just a word, even a whisper — ”Holy Spirit, please fill me!”
Your answer is only a breath away.
Prayer
Father, from the beginning, you have wanted me to be blessed by your extravagance.
All that I see, from the skies above me to the waters beneath, is a testimony of not only your desire to bless me but also of your absolute power and wisdom.
As I start this journey through Genesis, I open myself to experience your love in ways I’ve never known before.
Thank You for reminding me that the areas of my life that seem dark and empty are only opportunities awaiting your breath.
Father, I invite You to come blow upon every hollow and lifeless mindset and circumstance so my spirit rises to meet Yours.
Let Your Spirit overshadow me to make my life every part of Yours, refresh me with Your Spirit’s wind and fan the flame of devotion so I become a sponge by meditating on Your Word that establishes a personal, deeply private encounter with you .
I look forward to a life filled with fellowship and communion that develops your radiation glory within me once again.
I pray in The Holy Name of Jesus, Amen.
Shalom
