Giving With a Right Motive is So Important!
We must keep a right balance with the right motive to help others!
Good morning.
May we start out with this scripture today.
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38.
This is a beloved promise from our Lord.
Still we shouldn’t give just to get. That can get in a wrong motive.
‘Receiving’ is just a natural byproduct of our being obedient.
Our Fathers heart is to give and He will even use others to bless us back.
He surely is a good, good Father!
Hope you will enjoy this song today.
Getting back now:
On the other hand, the devils nature and whole being is nothing but to steal, kill and destroy.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
Just don’t quit giving because some have took the ‘prosperity gospel’ too far!
Be Spirit led where to sow and where it might do the most good.
There are many needs out there and our giving is most important!
If we are stingy, we cant expect God to overflow back to us.
Reiterating here: We must keep a right balance with the right motive to help others!
It will flow back to us.
Our God is faithful to always honor His Word!
Many blessings to you all today.
