God Don’t ‘PLAY’! — 5 Comments

  1. Dear Adam,

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.  Hebrews 13:17

  2. I’ve been so angry with your post, Mary—NOT with you—but more so an unhealed reaction on my part, I think?  Whilst I totally agree, “God don’t ‘PLAY’”, which I know from first-hand experience, what about the so-called platformed ‘anointed’ prophets who murder God’s own, sitting in Church pews, all because they have the audacity to prophesy a word that displeases them?  With their words they spiritually ‘murder’ us!  And that’s okay, apparently, because THEY have ‘titles’.  We’ve had that ‘Do not touch God’s anointed’ used as a weapon against us so many times at Church.  Well, guess what, the majority of God’s ‘anointed’ mostly go unnoticed, and are sitting in Church pews.  Does God care about them/us?

Blessings Mary.  This is not personal, just my rant.  ❤️

    • Dear Monica,

We must do things God’s way. He has commanded us to love and forgive. Offenses will come, that is written. The Lord wants us to be vessels of honor.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.  17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.  18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.  20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.  Romans 12:16-21

7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.

8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed: 9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.  11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.

12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.  13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.

14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: 15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men’s labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly, 16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.  2 Corinthians 10:7-16

      • “The Lord wants us to be vessels of honour”.  Amen!  He surely does.  Thank you so much, Mary for reminding me of this. Thank you for taking the time to respond.  I very much appreciate it. ❤️

  3. Really, God doesn’t play with HIS anointed and prophets. I was told of a sudden death of an unbeliever who slapped & rained abuses on a preacher in my place. The other one I witnessed it where God stepped in & killed all the firstborns, next, started to kill the parents of the deceased firstborns & all those who ganged up & falsely accused HIS anointed and prophet. It was so so touching. We all need to be extremely careful with how we use our tongues in judging God’s servants.
Thanks & more Grace on you Pastor Adger
