God’s Snake-Eagles
“For too long, Beloved, you have seen yourself as an earth dweller. But I see you in the Spirit.
You have been raised up with Me in the Heavenly Places. Picture this, My Child. See the powerful Eagle flying high above the storm clouds. In his claw is a snake.
His talons are wrapped tightly around it’s neck. He has brought that serpent up into the Pure Atmosphere of the Heavenly Realms where he can no longer breathe or function.
Suddenly, the eagle lets go of that snake and it crashes to the rocks below. It’s head is crushed. BELOVED, YOU are that Eagle. You are My Warrior Eagle, My Snake-Eagle.
That old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, has been defeated at the Cross. You have authority over HIM. For too long, My Children have suffered at his hands.
But the Spirit is in you to remind you who you are in Me. You have the same authority as Paul, who, when the snake tried to bite him, SHOOK IT OFF into the fire.
In the same way, I shall protect you from the serpent’s poison and the evil one will NOT be able to hold onto you. When the enemy tries to come at you with bad reports, lying symptoms, and fear, SHAKE HIM OFF, My Child.
My Fire burns within you. Be strong in your LORD and in the Power of My Might. I AM your Rock and your Redeemer. I AM the Rock upon whom the enemy has been crushed.
He is UNDER your feet! As it is written: I AM renewing your youth like the eagle. You shall mount up with wings as eagles; you shall run, and not be weary; you shall walk, and not faint.
Rise up, My Mighty Warrior Eagle! Fear not! Fly in GRACE! Grab that snake by the neck, fly high in the Spirit, and shake him off!
He has NO dominion over you, Beloved! You shall leave him in the dust of the earth. I have given you authority to TRAMPLE serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you.
Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD of Hosts!”
SNAKE-EAGLES are pretty incredible. That name — “snake-eagle” — may conjure up some kind of fearsome sci-fi hybrid, spawned in a secret laboratory. But snake-eagles are for real. And they are awesome, big birds of prey. When a soaring snake-eagle spots a delicious snake, it swoops down suddenly, grabbing with its talons. Then it immediately flies upward, as the snake writhes and strikes. The first order of business is to minimize the danger, so the eagle crushes or tears off the snake’s head. Still on the wing, it then swallows the entire snake, head first. (Audubon.org)
