Good Morning, LORD!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Good Morning, LORD!
Good morning, LORD!
How are You today?
May I sit with You and listen to Your Heart?
Soon the sun will rise bringing a new day
And new Hope into the hearts of many
The squirrels are still nestled in their homes
And the birds haven’t begun singing
Here I sit quietly in the quiet
Wishing You a good morning,
And inquiring, “How are You today?”
How are You today?
Oh my heart wants to know
How are You today?
What You care about, I care about too..
Oh LORD, how are You today?
So many wake and pass through the day
Without a single thought given to You
Just waking and barely making it through
Once upon a time I used to be that way too
But something changed in me
Oh Your Sweet Mercy called out
With Your Words:
“Awake, My Glory! Awake, O lute and harp!
I will awake the dawn!”
And LORD thus so, You awakened my soul
How are You today?
Oh my heart wants to know
How are You today?
What You care about, I care about too..
Oh LORD, how are You today?
What’s the mission for today?
What is Your Will?
Here I am, send me, yes!
Even though my heart is a bit restless
I know You can help me bring it back to focus
I will put obedience over sacrifice
Mercy over judgement
Lovingkindness over heartlessness
Your Will over mine…
Oh LORD, my heart is listening…
How are You today?
Oh my heart wants to know
How are You today?
What You care about, I care about too..
Oh LORD, how are You today?
And now the squirrels are awake
And the birds are singing
Yet still, I sit quietly
My heart listening to Yours…
And wishing You a good morning!
How are You today?
Oh my heart wants to know
How are You today?
What You care about, I care about too..
Oh LORD, how are You today?
Here I sit quietly,
My heart is still listening…
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,” Isaiah 61:1 AMPC.
“Awake, my glory! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!” Psalm 57:8.

“Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14.
“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”” Galatians 5:13-14.

“Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Thank you Sandi for your kind words. The LORD was very gracious in giving this to me just as it was depicted: right before dawn. I love to get up early in the morning before the sun rises and watch how the morning unfolds with Him. I love how He always reminds me about His Heart and my desire to align mine with His! Much love and hugs to you dear sister!
